"I think Moyes should go all out for Solanke in January, he would suit our style of play. Get rid of Ings and send Mubama out on loan and promote Marshall to the first team squad."

"Decent performance Can’t really expect to go to a team that good miss three absolute sitters and get a result Didn’t really have any luck seemed like every selection fell to one of them including the first goal, and the ref was an absolute joke did not give us a single decision all afternoon. Two centrebacks went through Antonio time after time thought bowen should have had a pen. They committed so many fouls when we were breaking and the deliberate handball by Robertson not a single booking all game. Aguerd is becoming a massive problem another mistake and another big goal conceded at a crucial time when we were well on top. Paqueta was the best player on the park by a country mile and deserved his standing ovation from the bin dippers. Not sure how anyone can blame Moyes player a top team had plenty of chances didn’t concede loads of chances. Only criticism from me would have been bringing on fornals who was the worst player on the pitch on Thursday by a country mile in a terrible team performance. Thought the Ings sub was unnecessary when you could have stick mubama on and give him some valuable minutes."

"Safe to say I'm not the manager's biggest fan, but you can't be too harsh on him today. I hate that we go into games the way we do, but to be fair we started well, and maybe if we had pushed the boat out for a striker we'd have got something today. However, we are not going to win games consistently with Aguerd in the the team. After the pathetic stuff that I've apparently got some sort of agenda against him, it should be clear to everyone that this fella is ALWAYS going to make massive errors in games. It doesn't matter how much time you give someone, it's beyond a fucking joke now. Showing Salah onto his strong side, then the most obvious slow lunge, I mean fucking hell. Still, there were positives to take today, we need Paqueta central to make the most of this form he is in, he was absolutely sensational today. Soucek was better but we need more going forward. I'd play Bowen central up top, we need a proper goal threat, and Antonio is better to be bringing on. Play Kudus on the right, Benny on the left, and lets trouble teams going forward."
Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Maybe we should have spent £42m on a proper centre forward for Moyesball instead of spending it on someone who has zero chance of starting ahead of Bowen or Paqueta.

"Fuckin ell. Poor from Aguerd, poor from Antonio, poor from Moyes. It's the fuckin usual. So bored of Moyes' inability to use subs to any effect. Another game lost away to a top six team, how many is that in a row for Moyes now? Get rid of him ffs."

"Same old story, we've needed a striker for umpteen years."
Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"I think perhaps the only thing we can blame moyes for is the late subs we were chasing shadows for large parts of the second half. Otherwise no real complaint. We created some very decent chances that we couldn’t convert and on another day the result could have been different. We can join Wolves and Newcastle in that respect. Liverpool otherwise have the players who can hurt you and so be it. We need a striker, so very badly, that can play in this formation and score. Antonio can’t last a whole game anymore."

And Villa win at Chelsea puts us down a place.

Decent first half performance but to get something at Anfield you have to take your chances and be solid at the back. We did neither. Player quality wise we are a top 10-12 team but not of the level of the top teams competing for the league and top 4. Obviously having a comfortable league season is important but without a Saudi type takeover we will never trouble the top teams on a consistent basis. Much like most of our history it’s the Cup competitions that will mostly define our season and we should prioritise them.

"I find it hilarious that some on here blame Moyes. We came out attacking and apart from an awesome save and Antonio missing a sitter we'd have been 2 up. Bowen missed another sitter and Aguard fucked up twice for 2 of their goals, the first one when we were on top. Paqueta was the best player on the pitch. Aguars needs to be dropped"
Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"A fair result - Liverpool looking a lot stronger in defence and midfield than many were saying on here before the game. We could have got a point from that but you've got to take your chances, which is exactly what Antonio in particular has to do if he thinks we can finish above Liverpool. Interesting that we had 36% possession, which is a slight improvement on most of our recent showings. I thought we were trying to play it out from the back more rather than hoofing it. We did that really well at times, especially when Paqueta and Emerson were involved. What can you say about Paqueta? His tackling and ball-winning were absolutely incredible today. Just a pity we couldn't make the opportunities for him to get so involved in more advanced areas. Take it on the chin and move on to the next game. I still think we are good enough to finish top six."
Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"We've got probably the best 14 or 15 players to pick from that we've had for a very, very long time but with Moyes we will always fall short of our potential because of his gutless, defensive & biased tactics. With these players it will be a tragedy if we don't make top 8 min, potentially top 6, but we won't simply because of Moyes. We've become Everton in Claret and Blue (or Orange & White) and it fucking sucks. Get rid of Moyes, bring a progressive manager in and take the shackles off this crop of players and play attacking fucking football for once. Moyesball concedes 6 goals in 2 games then. How's that working out for you 'Moysie'? Wanker."

"At times we showed good quality on the ball. Wasted good chances but really we let them have too much of the ball and defended poorly. Zoumas pace and agility is a problem. Areola not coming and claiming anything is a problem. Fabianski is much better is that area. Antonio had an awful day. Didnt hold up the ball at all, fell on the floor repeatedly and missed a sitter. We looked gassed, Paqueta looked injured at the end. We didnt play awful but made too many mistakes."

Don’t flatter yourself KD. We lost because we didn’t take our chances and we didn’t defend well when needed. Couple of changes needed but we aren’t far from a very good side. I’ll let you go back to wanking off over a defeat. Oh and it’s losers. Moron.
Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Oh well, not an easy place to get a result. Didn't take our chances first half and created little second half. Aguerd seems to have an issue judging the flight of the ball, several have gone over his head last few games. Need a win next time out to stop the run of defeats."
Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Created a couple of decent chances which should have been taken. Thought we looked tired 2nd half and with no Antonio we had no outlet. Thought Soucek looked loads better than last season. Disappointing defending for their 2nd.
Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Disappointing result, thought we might nick a draw today. Not the end of the world losing at Anfield of course. Had our chances and overall have a good account of ourselves. Paqueta and Bowen stood out today as our best players. Ref gave them everything but not the reason why we lost. We have the making of a great team, Just not yet ready to compete for the league title, as I’ve said we’re currently a top 6 side. Onwards and upwards! COYI"
