"I,m hoping they leave Aguerd out of the side, He makes more mistakes than Johnson ever did.. Bring Mavros and Kudus in . Newcastle put eight goal past this lost last week."

"Thanks J Riddle I would definitely read your post again, very inciteful."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Sheffield Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"TBH it's a pointless post, we all know Moyes will play Soucek in every game again this season, Bowen will play right wing and Antonio will be flogged to death as striker with Kudus coming on at 70 mins for the knackered Antonio who ran around and fell to the floor alot but came close."

"He doesn't know his best position then, not the sharpest tool mind"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Sheffield Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"I'd stick Antonio RW he's always been a RW as when bought from forest, not RB,LW, striker. Bowen LW he's left footed and give Kudus a go as Striker he has played there before and looks like he knows where the onion bag is more out of the three. Kudus to fire us to chumps league! Tin hat not required, I've lived through Radford, Dowie, Ian Pearce et al....."

"Don't think Kudus will start today having played midweek. Soucek is on a good scoring run. I expect him to play. To be fair with the delivery of JWP he will score against a lot of sides from set plays. I don't expect Sheffield Utd to roll over like they did for Newcastle. If they do leave space in the midfield we need to exploit early, knock the wind out of them and go on to win comfortably. We don't seem to do comfortable wins though. I'd really like to see a clean sheet - we have given up some soft goals recently and that needs to stop. This is my expected lineup Areola Coufal Zouma Aguerd Emerson Soucek Alverez Bowen JWP Paqueta Antonio Id like to see Kudus tried as a striker instead of Antonio but with the way we play we are reliant on a player to hold up the ball and give time for us to break forward. He is more a player to run in behind or dribble his way through. I have to say if Antonio plays again like he did against Liverpool then Kudus couldn't do much worse."

"Norf - All fair points, but maybe stick Paqueta out left and Kudus in the 10? Bottom line is if he's as good as reported then surely he has to be playing."

Manuel Tbf to Moyes we’ve played pretty well since kudus signed and considering the lad can play either right side No.10 or striker I’m not sure where he would of started apart from Liverpool Antonio has been in pretty good form and Bowen and Paqueta are probably the only two undroppable players in the team. I’ve stuck him left side instead of Beni but he doesn’t tend to play there although it does allow all three to become very flexible and rotate as antonio can go wide left Bowen can go up top and kudus can go wide right I just hope Soucek doesn’t start as we are likely to have more of the ball today as he simply is of no value if you want to keep the ball and I’m guessing with him starting Wednesday I’m praying that tells us he’s on the bench

"Genoa beat Roma 4-1 this week. I'll take any type of win and I am fully expecting a win, no excuses whatsoever, this lot are crap and are Championship standard no matter what some may say. One beef that I do have however is with Kudus - Since when can a club of our status sign exciting talents for near 40 mil and just bench them? Kudus needs to be starting games and giving our fans a chance to get excited about a player. You have to wonder if he knew he was going to be benched and just play at Lincoln, ffs? Yes, he may well work his way into the team, even if it's due to injuries, but today he should be starting."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Sheffield Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Not being one to constantly moan about our manager but we are behind only Genoa in Europe for the lowest possession stats !!!! He can’t even win that ;-). Being slightly more serious though, the old cliche about there being no easy Premiership games is one that is correct Imo Got to be disciplined and tight defensively, match or better their work rate etc. but find a way to get in behind a team that could end up playing as a counter attacking outfit like we do. We have in recent years always found them a struggle to break down and often tried to force things as a result only to get “Moyesballed” ourselves on the break. Will be interesting and likely an attrition based game of low entertainment. JWP set piece delivery likely to be key"

"Don’t think this will be as easy as some think, Sheffield only really looked shit against Newcastle when they we’re going through the motions. A big score won’t happen under Moyes guidance, it seems like we put ourselves in the lead in games then defend that lead however fragile. I’d settle for getting back to winning ways and. 2-0, if we get an early goal I’d like to see us really go at them though and build some confidence in our strike force."

"This will NOT be the walkover many think it will be and they will be smarting rom last week. If we approach this too casually we may be made to pay. I think this we should and will prevail, however. 2-0 COYI"

"I fear that this could be a dull, dull game only brightened occasionally by one player trying to kick lumps out of another. Hope that the ref has stocked up at Clintons before the game - Paqueta first booking?"

"Ive just read this on X I thought all the players hated Moyes! This from Emerson. Good to see how much he values this trophy considering he has won all there is to win. It was great winning the Conference League with West Ham, I plan on getting a tattoo of that in the next few weeks... The manager is like a father to us because he tries to help in every aspect, on and off the field. He works a lot with us on the mental aspect of our game. I love playing football, I play with a smile on my face, I try to always be happy.”"

As much as we love Paolo . The club would never employ him as manager. Especially In the current climate. Where people are offended by the slightest thing.
