"That second half performance worries me and with the Barcodes up next, I just don't see how we are going to raise the level. Goes without saying we're going to have to if we want to get anything from the game. Think it's much more likely Moyes will field the same starting line-up and we'll get tonked."

"Not the most exciting game, bit boring really but we got the job done - we have a tough European game in the week and Newcastle a few days later. Not too bothered we didn't smash them, but just need to be a little more ruthless in front of goal as we won't always get that many chances so need to improve our conversation rate. Otherwise it's 3 points and a clean sheet so no complaints."

"A win is a win but fucking hell we are a shit watch. Moyes seems to want to to the bare minimum required and will get caught out, but fuck me it's boring to watch. His substitutions are fucking diabolical too, even winning comfortably he managed to make it somehow even more boring with weird substitutions, fucking Paqueta was playing as a centre forward in the end after being wasted out on the left all game. It's bizarre, Moyes hasnt got a single clue in his head the useless cսnt. Boring shit dinosaur football. I can't think of a time Moyes' subs made a positive impact in a league game. He is useless."

"To be frank, that was a disgraceful performance. Sheffield United are awful and were just tonked 0-8 at home. To have ZERO shots on target against them in an entire half of football is turgid and unacceptable. A glorious chance to markedly improve the goal difference has been missed by the JOCKOSAURUS and his dinosaur tactics."

"Good professional display today, although with better finishing we could have had a hatful. Not the most thrilling of matches (although we had the odd moment of class) but when there's a clear gulf in performance levels that's rarely the case. It's going to be a long season (well hopefully it will be) so no point having the players charging about like lunatics in the second half."

Decent first half. Second half routine stuff . Should have had more.

"british is best 8:37 Sat Sep 30 In 1997-98 the three promoted clubs all went back down. Bizarrely the three teams relegated from the Premier league in 1996-97 finished in the top three position in the first division (think it was still called that then), although third place Sunderland lost in the play off final. If they'd won the twenty teams in the 1998-99 Premier league would have been exactly the same as in 1996-97."

"Very easy win today. 2-0 at a canter and barely gave them a sniff. Can’t have many complaints about that at all. Very professional. We look much better without Declan Rice, to be blunt."

One of the promoted sides will stay up . Pretty sure since the premier Leagues 1992 formation . At least one has stayed up every season . Everton are the most vulnerable and they badly need Calvert lewin to stay fit .

"Had one of the media darling teams put in a performance like that it would have been lauded as excellent game management. 2-0, Job done. Would you much rather have had a cheek-clenching last few minutes?"

"Another quality goal from Bowen he really is pushing for that next level, always thought he's not quite good enough for Liverpool or England ,I'm slowly changing my mind he's been superb this season ."

"ManU and Everton losing at home, we escaped that banana skin and kept a clean sheet. Sheff U held out until prolonged injury injury time a couple of weeks ago at Spurs. Not effectively pretty but pretty effective this afternoon."

We get a free kick halfway into their half three passes and its back in our goalkeeper's hands. Mind numbing football
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Sheffield Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
The resurgence of the Czech pair has taken me by surprise. Coufal was like the Vlad of old and his delivery has improved ten fold. Soucek getting on the end of things once again is also great to see.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Sheffield Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
we were one game away from hiring Dyche last season. We could be Everton right now and losing to what is possibly the biggest shower of shit ever to be promoted. Instead of that we are European Champions and are 7th in the PL. It isnt always pretty but it is proving very effective and thats fine by me.

"If it is indeed “ your “ club elpo then why don’t you show some support? I know you, KD and the other Moyes out members hate winning but I rather enjoy it. Being on the first page when they show the tables is much nicer than page 2. Sheff Utd, like Luton today, will win games but it won’t be against us."

3 easy points… Lazy second half… No killer punch…few goal chances created… Boring to watch…MoyesBall… Paqueta and JWP should have created more…. Mid table mediocrity this season at best…

"Great first half performance first time for ages I can remember us taking the game to a team in the premier even if they were absolutely crap. Aguerd managed a full 90mins without a massive error, soucek scored which meant it was worth him actually playing hopefully he can get his shooting boots back even though he missed an absolute sitter earlier on. Nice little cameo when kudus came on although playing him in 3 positions in 19 mins is not that helpful when trying to get him to settle Bowen was excellent and is becoming an elite player at this level and we desperately need to tie him down and if we have to break the bank with his contract then personally I think its worth it. If I was ultra critical I would of liked Bowen and Paqueta to come off a lot earlier considering we have what will probably be our most difficult game in the group on Thursday night. Back up in the European places and a tough game next up in a team that are flying in the barcodes. But I see nothing to fear against them"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Sheffield Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"We won, Sheffield Utd are obviously going to be in a relegation fight, so why bust a gut for the full 90 mins. Benrahma - I know he was only a sub but needs to be moved on. No improvement, should be pinging those balls across that left side."
