Can’t work out why Mubama does not get a start in a game like this. Looked promising when he has played. Similar mould to Antonio which suits our style of play. Also scored a few goals in pre season. Then the season starts and he don’t get his fair crack of the whip. I don’t think Ings is a bad player but it is the same issue we have had time and time again. He can’t play how the manager wants him to play. Many said this would be the case also. Can’t see him going anywhere until his contract is up.

Re: ‚ö? Lincoln v West Ham - Official Match Thread -
"It’s so hard to judge the game when you can’t see it, I listened to it on Radio Lincolnshire with the most biased commentary team ( us brilliant, we fantastic, them meh) it was like listening to them two spurs divs on you tube. Sounded like Fab kept us in the game and except for Kudus we were pretty poor, we understandably made a lot of changes but how our second team can’t steam roller a game Lincoln side is testament to how they’re being trained. Ings and Soucek sounded like has been, how a couple of our youngsters didn’t start this game is dumbfounding, their energy and enthusiasm could have made the difference and lifted what sounded like an uninspired performance. Any of yous ITK ear’s heard whether the under 21s have been caught gang banging Moyes mum?"

"Alfs - Ings has become a big problem now, huge wages, shit, effecting Muamba's development and can't shift him. Him and Cornet have, pound for pound, been two of our worst ever signings, hands down. As for Arse, under the lights at home I fancy us a bit, I think we will take it a bit more seriously than they will. It's a cracking draw anyway."

"Manuel, if you're paying someone £120,00 a week let them try and earn it. Which Ings, again, failed to do. Who thought he'd be a good addition to the squad? He's done fuck all since his arrival. He's a championship player at best. With Man C out, and either Newcastle of Man Utd out, we need to play a strong team against the Arse - but we won't because of Europe. But neither will they. Hope eternal."

"Saw the result and saw that Ings played instead of Mubama, that was enough for me. The draw is more interesting, we have to go full strength and knock the cunts out. Even with Man City gone there are some top sides left still, it's really fucking difficult for us to win a domestic cup."

"From the 5 live commentary I was really disappointed with Cornet who I hoped would be one of the surprises of the season. Kudos is going to take time to settle just as Paquita did. Once he realises that he doesn't have any time on the ball hopefully like Paq did he'll sharpen up and let's face it if he's half the player Paq is we'll all be delighted. Benrhama worries me at the moment. How many games has he played for us now and if anything he's going backwards. It's SO frustrating as you can see the player he COULD be if he only had a better map of who's around him backing his junking runs. For the best part of two seasons now I have expected him alone to smash it and yet he only shows glimpses. A bit like Kerher. As for Ings, he seems a better defender than a lone striker. Some of this is of course down to Moyes. Benny starts every game almost TOO eagerly (which most pros will tell you is the surest way to have a stinker) as he knows 9 out of 10 times he's getting hooked after 65 minutes. It's hardly massaging his self-confidence. Pardew left a lot to be desired (well, as a manager rather than a shag monkey) but he bought players through who were apt to have a stinker and say 'look Anton (or whoever) you make as many mistakes as you want, I will play you for the next five matches and judge you holistically over those five games' which really took the nervousness out of their game. Benny is due that friendly chat by does Moyes have that kind of flexible thinking? Anyway, we're still in it and the most surprising thing about it for me is we've been drawn at home. Let's face it, we're NEVER going to be given an easy draw (we never are, that's why we've never won it). I won't be too disappointed if we lose and are out of the league cup as it lets us concentrate on our treble challenge. *takes tongue out of cheek*"

Ffs. Can’t we ever get a nice comfortable cup run at least for a couple of rounds one day?

Hard work VS lowly team… Again proves how weak our scoring threats are in the squad… We won’t get far in the league or UEFA this season with so few goals in the squad…. So obvious….need at least 15 more goals than last season in EPL…

Got to beat them at some stage to win it. We are at home. Don't give them any respect as it doesn't work.

"Well, we ride our luck a bit and scraped through. Not really a good performance; with ca 74% possession and 3 attempts on target. Hope there’s a bit more zip in the next round. Largely second string players, I know, but little commitment. Still, a win is a win and it’s on to the next round."
