"Two You utter no knowledge everything cսnt. I'm glad we won,but not having my 4th wank over another crap Moyes tactical nightmare and performance. If you're happy with that's upto you. Moyes plays the same underachieving players again and you're happy. We have the best youth team in 24yrs and not one gets to play. Moyes has taken us as far as he can."

"Job done, is the main thing. Our new signings so far range from good+ to bloody excellent. Money well reinvested, it seems, and everyone’s still getting used to each other. I just want to say, to be fair, Oggy was very good for 96mins 55secs of that match. He’s a great loyal warrior for us, our black Ginge, so I’m glad his 5 dog shit seconds didn’t matter in the end. I’m reasonably happy, after that."

Ron. Not true. His set pieces in the first half were poor. As Tapioca tired and a set piece pro like Soucek it came good.

Not great often disjointed. Patches of good play and horrific play. Glad to see both Kudus and Soucek get off the mark. Shame we couldnt have got the job done early and give the youth a run out.

Nice result in what could have been a banana-skin of a game. Maybe Kudus is a long-term Antonio replacement if he can be converted from wide like Arnautovic and Antonio himself.

Bit sloppy and disjointed as a team and 9 changes probably a big reason. Got the result as we did on the previous years in Europe even when not that great. Liked the look of Kudus who is lively and gets on the end of things although he tired last 15 mins. “Stavros” the Greek fella looked very decent although not really tested but looks very strong and has good technique for a big lad. Benny was a tad shite for 60 mins but came alive once Antonio came on. Ings looks a busted flush and Fornals too not that good with his passing although tried hard as usual. Oggy had a decent enough game except for looking like he was 80 years old when dispossessed for their goal. Paqueta was the source of most creativity but laced with the most loose passes too which better teams will punish. Antonio made a difference with his physical presence but displayed his lack of technique in front of goal which we all know. Emerson looked good as he has all season. Finally JWP I was frustrated with his set pieces for much of the game but he was a difference maker yet again in the end. 2 more assists Overall good to win with the “fringe” team even if it looked like the fringe team

The win was all that matters and some can question the standard of the opposition (like they did when we won the ECL last season) but our consistency in Europe over the past couple of years is still pretty impressive. Brighton & Villa both played against modest opposition tonight and both lost.

"Another poor performance. No player was more than a 6.5. Shows that Moyes doesn't know how to play attacking football. Set pieces our only answer. We got lucky as the players were complacent. Mavropanos the exception. He made the odd poor pass but this game showed that Ogbonna and Cresswell are shot at this level. Criminal that Ings played so long and no Mubama. Mubama could of done everything that both Antonio or Ings did. Credit to Tapioca good performance from them, more belief and they could have snatched a draw."

"Mavropanos - looks potentially an interesting player. Kudus - not as dynamic as I’d hoped. Doesn’t have the acceleration to fly by someone like a Salah or Robben. Will score plenty of goals, just not the dynamism I’d hoped for. Dogbonna - why are we playing him over Casey or Laing? Good presence at the club I’m sure, but now is the time to move forwards. JWP - 2 goals and 6 assists already. Tidy in possession. Exceptional buy. Ings - as above with Doggy, time to play Mubama. He is not good enough. Take the loss and move on, even if we part cover the wages."

I have never known anyone be so consistent with set pieces than JWP. It’s actually a bit ridiculous.
