"I wonder if Moyes has done any work on them and watched them play or any video's. Or will he embarrass himself again and say its hard to get match footage of games in Germany, like he did with the Serbian mob, Fucking melt."

"Struggling to get much enthusiasm for this if I'm honest. Suspect Moyes will play around 8 of the regular first team. You can't take liberties in this comp, unlike the shit we played last season in the Conference."

Full strength team & hopefully like last season we can get in the position to have a dead rubber at the end to manage the squad. Presume is like the Conference where winning the group is crucial to play one less round and avoid being the second place team who has to play a Champions league drop out. You'd presume Topo BackOfTheNet will finish 4th so if it goes wrong & we finish 3rd we are at least able to drop down and go back to back in the Conference

"daveyg 11:42 Tue Oct 3 Freiburg were considered the hardest team in our group and then they beat the Greeks away, I think it's pretty much fact that they are our toughest opponents in this group stage. Away from home with no away support some people still think this is going to be an easy match we csn play a load of chumps in. A draw wouldn't be the worst result but I hope we go for the win."
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Looking at tonight's European Results I believe we would have a better chance win this Tournament if Manure was in the Europa League then Liverpuss!
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Hang on a minute, are they worst team in our group or the best. Fwiw I feel Olympiacos will be our hardest opponent. Mubama will start. Moyes has been canny all season and held him back for this. Antonio to be used as a impact sub at the end. Mavropanos will want to make a point as he lost in both games against Freiburg last season. Fab Kehrer Mavropanos Aguerd Emerson Alvarez JWP Soucek Paqueta Kudus Mubama Bowen injured"

"OK Vexed, Emerson on for Cresswell. No need for Bowen to start, plenty of decent players that can do his job, he can rest on the bench for if needed. Fornals is our top Europa player get him on. Yes, Ings, risky, but let’s see if he can earn his wedge, bring Antonio on if needed."
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Kudos has to start & drop Antonio. If he plays well which I expect him to, then use him in a diamond 4 up front against Newcastle with Bowen coming in for Antonio's position, & JWP & Paqueta making up the diamond. Then play Soucek & Alverez in front of the back four and thats a very good side indeed. Then sack Moyes and bring in a manager who can turn that group into a top 6 side which they are capable of."
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Moyes will almost certainly start Kudus, Dinos and Benrahma so it's a question of who will make way for them? My guess is Zouma, (for Dinos) Kudus (for Bowen) Benny (for Paqueta) Bowen & Paqueta poised on the bench if required."
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Mex, Cresswell is injured apparently. The only player with a good case for being rested is Zouma, you don't drop Bowen in top form and you don't drop your only competent forward. Get a few goals up and then Moyes can start playing silly bollocks with bringing idiots like Ings and Fornals on. If Moyes takes the piss with the starting lineup we'll get beat. He nearly managed it against whatever that lot we played last time were, and they were proper shit."

"I think Moyes will rest a few and still win. Thing that troubles me is Antonio is an obvious player to rest, but what are the other options? Moyes won’t play Mubama, Bowen could do with a rest, Ings is pretty useless, but I think that’s who it’ll be. Fabianski Coufal Mavropanos Aguerd Cresswell Soucek Alvarez Kudus Paqueta Fornals Ings"
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"To be fair if they watched the second half against Sheff Utd they'll think we're shit. They aint shit, they're nothing special though, playing people out of position aint the answer. If you think Soucek aint playing you're fuckin dreaming!"

"With Norf, they are a poor team, I watch at the weekend also We need to go to the game to win it, but Moyes is super cautious so expect a respect the point team"
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Vexed - you're probably right, but I just have a hunch he's going to pull one or two surprises. I called the team for Topola exactly right but I have no idea what he's going to do for this one."

My team not what I expect him to pick ——————fab Coufal—dinos—Zouma—Emerson —————-Alvarez ————Paq——JWP Bowen—-Antonio———kudus Doubt he’ll go that attacking but I watched their game Sunday they were awful win this and we’d be well on our way to winning the group and further into the season when players are tired we may be able rest players like last time
Re: ‚ö? SC Freiburg v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Only the 2nd game of the group and against the main rivals to win it, of course he's gonna play our best team. Grifo is excellent on his day and theyre not a bad unit, but we should still have too much for them if we turn up."

RM10 2:49 Tue Oct 3 Just imagine the buzz that Marshall would get travelling with the squad to Germany whereas Ings could spend some more time pumping iron at home.. everyones happy.

"It'll be the same starting line up from Saturday aside from Fab for Areola, assuming no injuries. Or at least that's what it SHOULD be. The players are are well rested, this is a must win game. It would be mad not to do that."
