I’m sure some are aware of Robert Banks’ West Ham History YouTube channel. He’s got to the the 98/99 season with his 20min videos. That was my favourite time as a West Ham fan. Di Canio had just joined, we still had Berkovic and Moncur. Sinclair and Lampard were in great form, Rio was one of best young players in the league and Joe Cole was just coming on the scene. We had characters like Ruddock and Wright too. Well worth a watch for some lovely memories - great away win at Stamford bridge included- it all seemed a lot simpler then…

Dicksie stamping on rent boy Spencers head and cutting Gullit in half...
Remember that game so well. Spencer getting up with his head leaking and West Ham fans trying to get on the pitch to get at him. Proper battle. Little cսnt Wise running around kicking and cheating all night. Gobshite.
Absolute thuggery - Dicks was a 2 bob player for us!
Just for you..
“I hate Tottenham — I’m West Ham, and I don’t like Tottenham,” said Dicks, with a menacing grin.
“People might have a go at me, but it’s true. You have got Birmingham and Villa. You’ve got Liverpool and Everton. But West Ham hate Tottenham. It’s true to say they really do.
“I’m not sure it’s the other way round. But for the supporters and for me, as a player, I hated Tottenham. Just to beat them is a good feeling.
“At the end of last season, it killed their title hopes and, if there’s one club we want to stop winning the title, it’s Tottenham.

WHU vs Man U, F.A. Cup, 2001 - taxi for Barthez.
I like it.
I'll see your Bartez and raise you a Di Canio kick against the Crazy Gang in 2000 as another peak Redknapp Football moment
*Granted there's plenty of dogshit too we could get through but trying to remember some good times when being selective over yesteryear for now

For me the sad thing about Redknapp is that he is more associated with Spurs than what he is with us. In particular that great champions league run.
Like fuck is he more associated with Spurs you fishing spaz. Played for West Ham for seven years and managed us for seven years. This comment sums you up... A joker.

By the way, Redknapp supports Arsenal your bigger and more successful neighbour.

was the last time West Ham were consistently entertaining, except for maybe a season under Pardew and Bilic. Amazing how many managers we've had since that are completely at odds with the ethos of the club since then
Yeah, it's like the Owners never truly understood what the Fans want from a West Ham manager or quite what the West Ham Way is.

Enjoying it.
The Cottee turn and swivel and Hartson blasting his way through defenders!
Dick's penalties were just a thing of beauty!
Top tunes throughout.

Lampard wasn’t sacked he was offered an admin role with Rednapp to take over as coach. It was obvious he was the better coach. Bonds was shit. Don’t see the back stabbing here. Worked out better for West Ham. .

the redknapp years were very enjoyable, we had a manager that wanted his players to entertain the fans, loved it. the complete opposite of that miserable, depressing jock bastard, who's idea of competing was parking the bus for eighty minutes
We were proper "homers" ..great at home ..pathetic away...and I mean pathetic away
Miike and Gank are proper homers.
Is this one of those high brow jokes ?

Remember Harry talking about the day he thought maybe he had gone over the top on foreign signings. Think it was a freezing windy wet day up at Sunderland or similar and he said something along the lines of Futre, Dumitrescu and Răducioiu were all just standing up front, hands on hips, whilst the rest were defending for their lives. Some great days with some disasters under Harry, typical West Ham. Terry Brown finding 5 million in his pocket to buy Hartson and Kitson when oiriginally saying there was no money. That windswept Spurs game was classic with Hartson battering Campbell to bits.

No shit.
Billy Bonds is a man of principles and honour.
Harry Redknapp is a spiv.
