Interestingly I see that Mahomes' dad also named Patrick Mahomes played as a major league pitcher for my team the Minnesota Twins and to be fair he couldn't have been up to much as I don't remember him at all. Anyway well played the Chiefs... Again.

There's a surprise (with both)! But you're right about the draft being a bit of a lottery. Some of the pre-draft analysis of Mahomes and others now reads badly!"

Pacheco MVS and the rest are decent but you wouldn't say anything special at all. It was clear on several plays there was just no-one open at all, but Mahomes just put the team on hi back and won it almost single handedly. What a player."

Best team in the league won it again. They're getting boringly good. Mahomes is an absolutely superb QB and Reid is such a consistently good play-caller. This is the regular reminder that the New York Jets passed on Pat Mahomes in the draft. We'd have ruined him anyway!
