"Russ of the BML 3:03 Sat Feb 18 I have heard similar although not the specifics with regards to Downes but it plausible. Moyes always saying he is the manager and makes all the decisions incoming and outgoing, tactics etc. The old school manager who is a control freak. He would rather us lose than play Downes, Benrahma ( until fans made their feelings known) . This is a man who puts himself ahead of the team. Noble and Rice trying to hold things together. Is it a coincidence the minor improvement in form has coincided with Noble being around again? He's on borrowed time and knows it. Unfortunately Moyes might be the sort that would see us relegated rather than accept his failings and inabilities in the job. All in all, if these rumours are true, and I have heard similar from 2 people connected with the club and a mate of Warbarton, then a lot of what we have witnessed this season makes a lot of sense. Just hope Noble and Rice and others can help steer the ship away from the relegation trap but it will have to be in spite of the tactics and selections Moyes makes. Would love a real insight into the relationships and who does what, who Moyes trusts. Seems Nevin is his trusted tactician? Or is he just tasked with implementing Moyesball negativity approach?"

What player would want to attack the opposition when playing football!!?? What player would do such a ridiculous thing as that?

I wonder if it is a player that preferred to attack the opposition when playing football?

"Can't remember the name now, but an ex Everton player a good few months back said he's the worst man manager he had ever experienced in his career, he absolutely crucified him."

marlonsrightsock 5:58 Fri Feb 17 I know someone in an important role at the club. I won't say anymore than that. But some of the stuff coming out is that Moyes was livid with the Warburton appointment and their relationship is cold - But all from Moyes. Hence the reason why Moyes was spiky all summer. Warburton's daughter is Operations Exec of an agency who brokered the deal for Downes without Moyes knowledge. Moyes made it clear he didn't want him and still apparently is cold to Downes and their relationship is not great. Number of senior players really unhappy with Moyes treatment of Benrahma. Not just the lack of playing time but his general relationship with him. No surprise that Sullivan went and got Benrahma without the player being requested by Moyes. Moyes relationship with Antonio not great since he called his negative tactics out. Apparently also some of the senior players confused with transfer dealings and style of play. Rice and Noble acting as mediators over a few Moyes / Player issues. Just snippets I hear that show its just all a bit of a toxic shambles. Add to that the fact that number of the youth players unhappy with Moyes complete ignorance of them and their perfrormances / results. Allegedly one of the reasons Ashby left was that Moyes had not even spoken to him on a 1-2-1 level. Just all pretty shit stuff.

"Leroysboots It will happen if the crowd turn on him, that hasn't happened yet and may not depending on results. Once the crowd get on his back its pretty much over for him If we'd lost to Everton it probably would have turned toxic"

"It's absolutely fucking mental that he's blatantly lying, and neither the press are calling him out on it, or the chairman doesn't stop him lying, as he's trying to say he hasn't spent money to compete. And the worst thing about it, is he keeps talking about us competing with the top 6, we can't even compete with the top 10. I can't wait till he fucks off"

"Russ , your point re Moyes being dangerous to the future of West Ham is a valid one . Every action , interview , press conference, podcast he does / gives is undermining the club . He is not even a fifth column , he is going about all of this openly . He is taking the piss on an absurdly cynical scale . How then does the board not take action? I can only conclude that Sullivan is going and doesn't give a shit . Kretinsky, I don't know what his angle is , scrape survival and buy the club or not take up the option to buy in the event of relegation and put the whole enterprise down to bad debt !"

"That whole interview is a disgrace. How Sullivan still backs him after a £200m failure that's put us back where we were when he arrived, is beyond me. Both need hounding out."

"We are all stuck between a rock and a very hard fucking place with this clown In an ideal world West Ham board will sack him in the summer However that will ONLY happen if we skirt relegation, lose in the FA cup and the Conference. If we were to win either cup he's nailed on staying And that my friends is utterly depressing We need him gone but that will mean we can't taste any success, which is tough If we get relegated they may think he's best to get us up !!!.....FFS"

"Russ of the BML 1:23 Fri Feb 17 This is pretty much where I am on Moyes. He's completely taking the piss, taking us for mugs. When are any of these so called journalists and presenters going to call him out, especially at these pre and post match conferences where they let him spout this shit without any challenging of it at all? It's like the fucking emperor's new clothes."

"""For some reason the major investors don't want to get involved""ù They never have. Around 2002/2003 it was fairly well known that Terry Brown would sell at the right price and around that time Abramovich tried to buy Tottenham first before he bought Chelsea. He didn't give us a glance. In 2010 when the club came up for sale the main bids were from Gold & Sullivan & Tony Fernandes. There were no bids from Saudi like the Man City purchase the year before. Even this past year with the Saudi's buying Newcastle they didn't look at us as a potential purchase in the future. I was thinking about this the other day but even things like sponsorship we have always struggled to attract decent ones. Avco Trust, BAC Windows, Dagenham Motors, XL Airlines, Alpari, Jobserve etc. Most people/companies/businessman around the world outside the West Ham bubble just don't view us as a very glamorous club. London or not."
