A proper run club would take offence at Moyes comments and sack him on the spot . I can only imagine how pissed off the players must be having to listen to him . It's bad enough for us supporters.

"twoleftfeet, genuine question, how many games have you been to over the last few years?"

"I've supported the club for more years than I care to remember. I attended my first game in 1970. So a bit more than two years. I've accepted the lows along with the occasional highs. What I don't accept is a manager talking down the club that employs him. The article in the Daily Mail was disrespectful to West Ham Utd. Why shouldn't we expect more than a relegation battle. A lot of money was spent in the summer, which appears to be wasted on him, if the players were not what he wanted he should have said so. We fill a stadium even though we've won not one thing of note in over forty years. We are one of the richest clubs in the world. Why exactly does he believe we shouldn't expect more than a relegation battle."

"This "" nostalgia "" about BFS is utterly ridiculous. He was a dinosaur, his teams played crap football and NEVER forget that Forest game. How can some of you morons even compare him to Moyes? 2 top 6 finishes, 2 seasons in Europe and one semi final. What did Allardyce give you? By this time every season under him we had nothing to play for. I'm sure some of you have only supported West Ham for 2 years."

What a fucking shower of shite we have running our club From pathetic board to a tinpot despot in Moyes We desperately need a new broom to sweep away everything that we do as a club How great it would be if we were run on a professional footing I'm desperate to hear that it's us and not others as the next soon to be taken over In my 50 years of supporting West Ham we have always had shite people running the place

SullyHammer but seriously is he just waiting for his pay off whilst hoping we don't get relegated instead of pushing us on... If we can see it why can't the bloody board!

Least number of yellows and reds etc Not hard when you're too slow to get near the opposition and sit in your own half for 80 mins? Moyes on track for another trophy / award? Oh hang on""¶be ain't won any in 30 years !!"

"DS -Here's a load of money Dave, go and sign some of the best players available. DM - cheers, that should be enough to keep us out of a relegation scrap. What a fuckling fraud the bloke is."

Sir Alf 2:33 Thu Feb 16 Exactly Alf... A good manager allows everybody to play their part. It's always been the way - nobody can possibly have all the attributes needed so you delegate your weaknesses to those who can compensate for them. The most successful managers were never a Superman they just knew who to trust to make the whole thing work. What would Cloughie had been without Peter Taylor? Even nowadays Klopp readily admits that he doesn't have the answer to everything so he trusts others to bring something else to the table. Confidence and humility is the best combination. Moyes is insecure and resents giving anybody else the credit for when things are going well...then it's everybody else's fault when he runs out of juice.

"He certainly matches up to the stereotypical, envious, mean spirited, inferiority complex suffering ( chip on both shoulders ) Scot that history and books talk about ? I have heard from a young lad at my old football team , who works on the very small data analyst team at the club, that Moyes just doesn't listen to anyone. Pearce, Irvine tired of it and Warbarton is wondering what he's doing there ( as indeed are we as he was supposed to develop the possession side of our game). Moyes is the classic closed minded, insecure manager you meet who resists change and new ideas unless they're his. A commander and not a leader of men. Great in a short term crisis but never works longer term as we are seeing. People, players see through it and you need to be a great communicator and almost a psychologist to get players onboard, develop them and make them feel valued. Moyes doesn't talk to them apparently? He used to work thru Noble and Irvine. Just hoping he can grind out enough points but far from certain."

LeroysBoots 10:33 Thu Feb 16 Whether we like to admit it or not there does exist an old boys club between certain British managers and journalists who cut their teeth together at the same time as football went through the stratosphere culturally and financially. The managers earnt more than they ever dreamed and a mere sports hack suddenly started getting paid the kind of salary their predecessors earned over their entire working life. So they certainly scratch each others backs by ghost writing biographies in return for going easy on them in the press when things are not going to plan. Mutual appreciation society innit?

"BillyJenningsBoots 2:12 Thu Feb 16 Like I said earlier on this thread, he contradicted himself quite a bit in that article. I don't think he will hold any grudges against the club (should he go) as he will always bang on about how he saved us and took us into Europe. That alone will be his selling point to any future clubs he interviews for, so I can't imagine he will be wanting us to go down, as no manager wants a relegation on their resume. However, if he knows he is going (as if he knew he was staying on, surely they would have entered into contract negotiations by now?) then he probably isn't that motivated to push us further, maybe perhaps the European comp? But if he doesn't know about his future yet, surely he will want to do his upmost to improve us this year and push us up the table. But as we all know, the football has been shit and we are more likely to go down then up the league based on his current tactics and squad selection."

"What Moyes and his media love in seem to not want to except is by moving to and expecting to get a 60,000+ attendance every home game needs the team/club to have a much higher bar for what is expected....they keep going backwards into what was ok for a club expecting half that crowd.....they wouldn't expect other clubs with that kind of support to just put up with this shit......the same shit we was excepting when not a lot was expected to turn up even though we did."

"I wonder if he knows his times up and that at the end of the season he will be gone... I've heard him talk like he may not be here... in the article he says .... 'So we've had a couple of incredible years which has meant I'm more relaxed and you know if it didn't work here at West Ham then fine, you know, you take it and that would be it. Then he says... 'I think as a football club, I think there is so much room for improvement. I think we can do things better here. I think that in the future, hopefully I will be able to help them or guide them. Show them the way that I think we should be going forward and using my experience to help that. Its an odd thing to say ""Hopefully I will be able to help them or guide them"" What else would a manager be doing? I do hope he goes and the sooner the better... but if he thinks his times up is he going to bust a gut to ensure we are safe?"

"Agree, he's become more insulting than BFS now, what a vile, disrespectful cսnt he is. He has totally destroyed any legacy he might have had. As for the SF, he fucked up and blew our best chance of a major trophy for decades by losing to a very average side, granted Cresswell is to blame too."
