"Meeting today to discuss Moyes apparently We all know he will stay, but how can anyone possibly sit down.....review the past year and especially this season and think he is worthy of keeping us up? Let alone take us forward The fact that the word relegation is even being used/discussed should be enough to send him packing For me our only threat of relegation is if Moyes continues"

"Zero chance of that. Maybe a few years ago it wouldn't be the worse shout, but he has retired now and the game has moved on, he would be ''out tacticed'' by the younger coaches, could be a disaster. An arm round the shoulder don't cut it anymore."

Looking at something else and the thought came up Would you take Harry Redknapp on a short term contract if Moyes left? Until the summer ?

"""£7m cost to sack Moyes apparently"" ten times that at that if we get relegated. And half of anthing we currently think we're going to get on the Declan fee. Weve got a manager angling for the payout of a lifetime and a chairman who wont part with his money (and to be fair I can understand it too). The rewards for failure here are just obscene, but failing to act could cost a whole heap more. Sorry Sullivan you need to act."

"Erm... sorry, as a football fan I find it an extraordinary claim Some key events during his tenure brought him to my attention a long time before he signed Sebastian Haller from us (and when *most* on here sermed to take a very keen interest in his scoring exploits - particularly in the Champions League) Maybe I shouldn't judge others by my standards and assume"

"onsideman 12:43 Wed Jan 18 ''but to suggest that no one had heard of someone who'd managed Ajax for 5 years is extraordinary'' Extraordinary?? Oh turn it in, there would be plenty who wouldn't have heard of Ten Haag, or would have no idea who Ajax's manager is/was."

"onsideman Sorry but I don't follow European football unless it affects WHU. Perhaps it's just me that hadn't heard of tenHag but the media were certainly questioning his appointment.before he went there. Bilic was a different kettle of fish. He was a successful ex-player that had made a success of an international career with a small national side that punched above their size. Given the amount Moyes had to spend I reckon he would have done better than he did after Payet played the prima donna card""¶"

If our directors really have locked themselves into a contract that costs £7m to get out of when we're in the bottom 3 then they're even worse at running the club than I ever imagined

"You've had a nightmare Willtell Bilic had no Premier League experience when he joined us so that's bollocks, but to suggest that no one had heard of someone who'd managed Ajax for 5 years is extraordinary"

7m? Relegation would cost a lot more. Suppose any hope of him realizing that he has royally fucked it up and walking away is out the question. No way a sweaty gives up a pound note.

"Jim C 10:06 Tue Jan 17 I'll be honest, having seen his side play a few times now, not for me. I don't see any longevity in that style of football, he's a men behind the ball counter attack merchant, their luck will run out eventually."
