If we were sounding out Emery then the writing is on the wall Obv the problem is also Everton look like they could sack lampard soon so could be some competition

"Crassus, what have I posted recently that indicates I think that Moyes should remain as manager? Fans can still want Moyes replaced even though they don't post in a profane and personal way about him."

It's utterly shameful this clubs is in this position. Moyes is done and should have been dispenced with the minute European football was no longer possible through the league. We've been dreadful all season and only an idiot or a spurs or Millwall could argue otherwise.

"Lots of good comments which I think most agree with. Aguerd is the only thing he has left to change things. Well actually formation, selection of Downes, Areola, Emerson and players in their best position, coach them to press and get them fit to press and run their nuts off. Other things like playing another player as striker alongside Scamacca, using wing backs But he won't do any of that. It will rely now on Aguerd and return of Zouma :-( 3 defeats coming"

"The number of crosses reminds of the days of big Sam who would count the ""box entries""ù as if it showed we were playing well Our crossing has been very poor this year. Even our set piece delivery has dropped off a cliff? One reason is that Fornals used to take most and yet he can never get a game now Our crosses in play come too late and when defenders are back. Cresswell never crosses first time - always takes a slight touch and recently has reverted to passing it backwards first. It was why Scarles did so well in Europe with first time balls into box before the defence can set."

Lee Trundle 6:31 Tue Jan 3 I am more surprised there isn't a third option for Moyes to shake it all about

Sullivan has got to that massive chav wedding to pay for so I expect he don't want Moyes pay off to cut into his ice sculpture budget

I find it incredible there's 19% who have voted so far in the WHO Poll that want to keep him in the job.

Surely the money you gain by just four or five premier league places more than pays for getting rid of Moyes and sorting a replacement?

"You aint going to put new windows on your house when youre selling it in a few months are you... Well you might, if paying for the windows didn't affect the already agreed sale price for the house and paying for the windows, wouldn't cost you a penny personally. A better analogy might be, why wouldn't you fix something that needs fixing on your house, if not fixing it, could well cost you the sale."

I'd be interested in how many of those crosses come from Cresswell this season.

Also whats Flynn Downes go to do to get a game? Moyes has given us some amazing memories and I admire how he turned us around. But the decline this season has been astounding both in him and the team

""" And if it ever is wipped in "" Huge IF, Coufal and Cresswell are shit.... its amazing how we tailor 99% of our attacks through them. Too slow, cant cross.....yet we fire the ball out to them every single time expecting to score a goal We are so easy to play against its horrible to watch, sit deep... 2 banks of 4.... let the ball wide.... defend the shit cross then counter attack in the wide areas Moyes being in charge for the next 3 huge games are whats worrying, as the 3 after that you might aswell write off with or without him if we're at rock bottom As i said last week GSB just as much to blame now, are they giving it a few more weeks to stop giving a new manager more time to spend £££ in the window. You aint going to put new windows on your house when youre selling it in a few months are you..."

Re crosses moyes has rather nullified our main threat and best finisher from midfield to accommodate Rice. Maybe thats why we haven't scored from a cross and said midfielders form has dropped off a cliff!!!

A lot of our crosses come after players have passes it backwards and forwards 3 or 4 times on the touch line tho making it far easier to defend against. And if it ever is wipped in fast after some quick play there's no one in there

but most of our crosses are reverse crosses arnt they. So not flashed across the box between defenders and goalkeeper.

Just had a quick google and it seems you can't own more than 10% in two premier league sides. The non decisive bit (Uefa rules) seems to be a grey area though.

"'kept on crossing the ball to absolutely no avail' So we may have Dog, who ever no avail was - now we are crossing the ball to fucking no one Our delivery in both open and specifically set play has descended to rank shite - an awful hit the first man sweepstake, drives me to a frenzy"
