Re: Moyes Out
Apparently the club are unhappy with the way the support has turned on Moyes due to the previous 2 seasons. What a load of old cock. as usual GSB are shifting the blame to the supporters instead of taking responsibility which is exactly why they've won the square root of fuck all in all there time in football .
Re: Moyes Out
"He has actually tried to get us playing to feet more and we keep the ball better but the tempo is slow, we have no pace and mobility across the side. It's a huge problem and added to that we are not coached to press enough. We won't necessarily be very good at it but we don't do it. Part of the problem is the players we have and bought. No pace. Yesterday, we were allowed to play back and forth because Brentford knew they just needed bodies behind the ball. They were superior in strength and pace and just needed to be disciplined, well organised and keep their concentration and slow things down with feigned injuries etc anytime we looked to transition or get a little momentum. Moyes also picked the oldest , slowest back 3 imaginable. Game was over once they scored. I would hate to see us relegated again. The only slight silver lining is to know that Sullivan's arrogance, ineptitude and generally awful traits as a human being will experience a huge drop in the value of his asset. Totally deserved for largely the most appalling oversight and running of a Premiership football club these last 13 years."

"Moyes track record to this point is great. No miracles, but a couple of relegation saves and some strong league finishes - but the results have gone. The fear is that things get left too long to make a change."

Re: Moyes Out
"""Would rather have BFS back""ù ""BFS achieved more than Moyes did""ù ""The previous 2 seasons under Moyes were a fluke""ù I think we can all agree that Moyes needs to go but some of the comments on here as quoted above are ridiculous. Yesterday's result finally tipped off the fans in attendance rather than just the online social media minority so it's only going to be a matter of time now."

Re: Moyes Out
"We don't need to win many to stay up, but we can't score and we are leaky at the back with at least one error per game. Not sure if Noble's return could help us get some team spirit back, but the team on paper should be good enough. Moyes earned a bit of time, but had a good stop there to stabilize things and it hasn't happened."

Re: Moyes Out
"Posted this on the match thread as well. Bit confused about this 'bonus issue' he (Moyes) had. Surely it was based on an agreement that it would be paid should the team attain a certain league position or higher? He is in charge of team matters so a massive slice of the responsibility lays at his door. Surely his failure was the result of said bonus being witheld. Not as if he's struggling for a shilling either, I wouldnt mind being a pound note behind him. If there's more to it I'm happy to be proved wrong."
Re: Moyes Out
"The lucky thing for Moyes is the Leeds game is exactly where his tactics do actually work. His style is only successful against teams that go gung ho but don't have the quality to defend the counter. Its why we had those perceived decent wins in recent seasons against the likes of Leeds, Villa, Wolves. As soon as a team plays a similar style, we can't break them down. He needs to be able to adapt but he's shown he never will. He'd rather lose narrowly and say we played well and were unlucky."
Re: Moyes Out
"We dont want an obvious replacement, we just want a competent one. Or let's go crazy and try to get a good one for the first time in forty fucking years shall we? How can we dole out the level of dough that we do, bring in the crowds that we do, to an extent the players we bring in and be in London and the Premier fucking league and not be able to attract someone better than fuckin Moyes? Absolute an utter fucking cսnt of an argument. Fuck off."

Re: Moyes Out
"pdc, what games are must wins then? Because, and this might come as a bit of a surprise to you, we do actually have to win some fucking games to stay up, you magnificently thick cսnt."
Re: Moyes Out
"Apparently there are no obvious replacements""¶. Fucking hell, so the school can't find a new teacher so we'll just keep Jimmy Saville in charge. The fucking ineptitude is mind boggling. Could also read as no cheap replacements - however there are both cheap and very qualified managers available. I'm so fucking angry today, all that wasted promise yet again - when will GSB just fuck off and do one. Day can't come too soon. Blood sucking cretins the fucking lot of them."

"Can someone please clarify Kretinsky's position? If we get relegated, what's to prevent him selling his shares and looking for another club to buy?"

Re: Moyes Out
"It's time he moved on. It's one thing to lose to the leaders away from home, but games like Brentford are must wins."
Re: Moyes Out
"grasshopper yes and no, to any decent manager that would be the challenge. You could say that Man Utd were/are a poison chalice too. Look at where Ten Haag has taken them already. The same with Chelsea and you could say Newcastle too. Just listening to 5 Live, they are talking about HOWE changing tactics, good players that were underperfoming and galvanising the squad. Moyes has shown he can't change over the years. This all started when we picked up injuries this time last year and Moyes failed to bring in players or youngsters. It was great to beat Seville and win in Lyon but the semi final was the biggest anti climax ever. Moyes is holding on for a pay off, doesn't care where the club will be at the end of the season as he'll be gone even if we stay up . We won't win the ECL as there are much better teams still involved than the EL last year. Time is of the essence. If he stays on till end of Jan we will be doomed all round because he will priortise the PL. This is so sad for our club. I've never like Moyes. Totally different to Bilic's reign. I loved that era with Payet and Lanzini."
Re: Moyes Out
What gets me about Moyes is that his decisions are so bad. He tells us all he has final decisions on signings then spend £160m on a £30m striker that can't score nor runs behind defenders. An injury prone left sided forward for £20m that's hardly played. A record £50m creative midfielder that turns out to be an indifferent DM. A £15m LB that's worse than Cresswell. An injury prone £30m CB that's hardly played. A box to box midfielder for £10m that can't get a PL game while Fornals and Soucek turn in crap performances week after week. It just staggers me at the incompetence of the man. Not one of HIS signings has added a thing to the side so far. For me a decent coach would be able to turn that Moyes induced shit shower into a side with occasional wins and draws to get out of trouble but time is running out. Waiting for the end of transfer window is an idiot's economy
Re: Moyes Out
He may survive if G&S are selling in March and don't want the turmoil at the end of their tenure. Or they could do the decent thing and stand aside and allow Kretinsky full reign now and let him be the decision maker whilst they disappear into the background with their hundreds of millions.

Re: Moyes Out
It's ridiculous that he hasn't already gone. Any other club would have pulled the trigger by now or in many cases a lot earlier. It seems only a heavy defeat at Leeds might do it so here's hoping.
Re: Moyes Out
"Apart from anything else, the man is a loser. He has won NOTHING in a long career. His total earnings and pay offs however are HUGE. He's one of the biggest arrogant cnuts in football. I'd rather have the fat gum chewing prick back."

Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes is going nowhere because, as a figurehead with absolutely no clout or authority in the club, he is in no position to prevent the sale of players prior to the Daves cashing in and buggering off. This season is a write-off."
Re: Moyes Out
"Personally I doubt he will get sacked. Gold and sillivan are as small minded as he is. Which is frankly ridiculous. I didn't want moyes back at all and was vocally very angry at the time. I ate the humble pie when he turned it around, but cracks started to show a long time ago. He has 1 plan which he sticks to and everyone knows it. It was apparent even early last season that we can't break teams down that get back quickly and he's never found a way around that. So now we everyone knows how tonnullify our attack and has done for. Whole year. And the cսnt is so fucking arrogant and stubborn that he won't change. His way is right and it IS going to work. Winning is what he does. Players that should have been replaced ages ago and out of form are being hung out to dry. Morale is clearly down. Fitness and effort are dropping like a stone, encased in steel smd lined with cement. I said at rhe Brighton game. Something needs to change or we're going down. Either tactics, or players. Or moyes. And it's just getting worse."
