Then there might be an issue over the ground lease for the Hotpoint. There was a schedule set up for leagues and cups we might partake in, but this won’t have been allowed for. If we now had money I doubt any changes in the agreement would be cheap plus if we then bought the ground the price will have gone up. Then there would be the investment in the squad. Being in a Super league (no easy games) might suggest an upgrade on Dawson for example. For teams like Man City the new money is cream. Why are Liverpool bothering to qualify for a competition they won’t be in next season?

Give them an ultimatum then kick them out if need be. Yes the Prem would take a massive hit and so would the England footy team but real fans wouldn’t care and football would go on. The teams that were kicked out would have it far worse in the end
