GB Saying a bloke played for his national team so he must be good is ridiculous If you look at sone of the absolutely do shit players that has played for England shows you that argument doesn't hold up Tom Huddleston Ryan Mason I could name about 50 shit to bang average players like that look at the lad from Everton that dresses like a girl had about 3 good months and he was englands second choice strike same with Ollie Watkins bang average Emerson is absolutely dog shit as is Kehrer scammaca is bang average Paqueta I've got absolutely no idea what he's actually meant to be good at You can see why Italy didn't qualify and Germany have bombed in the 2/3 tournaments if that's the quality of player they have

"The positive side of all this is that he has spent a load of money on some actually good players and we've only played a third of the the games. The fixture list looks like he cant escape being sacked in a few games and no one is going to give him any more money in Jan considering what happened when he did spend. What I was looking for from the Arsenal game was not really a win, or even a draw, but a new style of play that showed potential and that would beat lesser teams than Arsenal. I think we can all conclude we saw none of that last night. It's conceivable that he gets sacked very soon and a decent coach could easily get a tune out of these players as they aren't that bad. Most of this is really about Moyes coaching ability and tactics. Its pretty obvious now as the poor form has been going for so long its not some random set of issues that have just cropped up. There's something not right in his head in my opinion. He can absorb defeats and embarrassments too easily. I said it in Jan, that he will regret that transfer window for the rest of his life. His whole legacy would have been different if had spent in that window instead of his ridiculous arrogance saying that there was no one available that could improve his current squad. What a stuck up thing to say! His own personality, hubris etc.. his lack of paranoia and ambition to actually go down in history as a true winner, and ultimately his complacency have cost him everything here. You always fail when you believe your own hype."

"A new manager bounce might have got us something last night, whoever that might have been, unfortunately the inevitable will drag on for a while longer. And even at games there is no real ire from the fans, just apathy and acceptance. I expect Brentford to pan out like the Leicester game. Teams have absolutely nothing to fear from playing us, thanks to our busted flush of a manager."

He's lost the dressing room so it's curtains for him. But wait galloping up on the inside is Mr West Ham aka Sir Mark Noble our saviour and redeemer.

"GB - tell me how Scamacca is a ""ògreat player' then? He's not Italy's 9 that's a fact, and believe me it's a very poor Italian side. Tell me something you've seen in Pacqueta that convinced you he's gonna work out, coz I'm not seeing it. Emerson is dog shit, don't even bother going down that road."

Unlike the top sides who at the end of a season sit down and discuss where they need to improve and who they could improve the side by getting in we simply panicked with the season virtually starting and threw money at everyone and anyone.

"We're royally fvcked imo Because we spent all that money in the summer there is no money available to get a new manager and a couple of players that they will probably insist on. A couple of those Moroccan lads will cost serious money as it's mid season as will a good, younger, progressive manager. I hear the squeaking of the relegation trap door. :-(. We are that dysfunctional as a team right now"

"A great player? No chance. He's not Italy's number 9, Immobile is. He's second choice although if it came down to it Chiesa would probably play through the middle. Emerson is fucking shit like I said from day 1. Pacqueta has been awful for us, his position is no excuse for getting basic stuff consistently wrong."

Paul Nevin gets a free ride have a look at his past coaching jobs. Hardly inspiring himself and Southgate are holding England back. Has Nolan got any influence on tactics and training no wonder Pearce left it was harming his reputation

"Coufal gets (wrongly imho) booked first half. Second half, just like the first half, we were going backs against the wall tactics. Moyes should know Coufal now can't get tight and commit the foul if necessary. Got Johnson available or Ogbonna to come in and switch Kehrer. Doesn't do anything. He doesn't read games. He doesn't change tactics. Doesn't even do it when we concede 2 quick goals. The man is literally banking on setting us up to be solid, regimented and functional. And just like you can flip 6 heads in a row, due to fortune and things going your way, the last 2 seasons have planned out well for David. But now he's throwing 6 tails and doesn't know what to do."

"Goose and Stowie, Scamacca is a great player, otherwise e wouldn't be the Italian 9, unless the Italian squad are carrying him. Same applies to Paqueta with Brazil and to a lesser degree Kehrer, Benrahma and Emerson. The common factor for the collective shitness is the system they're playing and the positions they're playing it in. I'd say if there's things that should be dug out , it should start with Moyes and his management team. Also realisation should have happened a long while ago that Antonio and Soucek are terrible football players. Also Cresswell and Fabianski should have been put out to grass a long while back. Still Moyes persists with the same shit."

There's a reason why Sunderland fans hate him so much.

"Coufal played Saka on for the first goal? Fab is too old and slow and gets beaten at the near post for their second. The third goal was Kehrer getting turned but I think our midfield was actually more the problem all game. They were totally dominant in that area and Moyes did nothing. Aside from Soucek stats which were appalling we have to remind ourselves that Downes has only played in his proper position alongside Rice in the Premiership for maybe 30 mins in one game? What on earth is going on? Moyes has options but doesn't use them. It's as if some players are bought but not his choice and he refuses to give them a chance? Benrahma, Downes perhaps Emerson too? The latter is a wing back so does not fit his system , Benrahma tries things that lose possession so not conservative enough for Moyes but Downes it's a mystery? Not really played a bad game other than when pushed into a forward role he has never played. Set him up to fail so he can stick with Soucek ? It makes no sense and is insane"

"Emerson is the one that makes no sense other than someone got a favour somewhere. Longelo would do equally well playing zero games, would have cost £12m and wouldn't be £50k a week plus up the wall. It's not like Emerson is one for the future either"

"goose wrote... Re: Moyes Out For someone who ""òdithers' over transfers to get them right - his dealings this summer have been awful. Scamacca - Haller mk2 Pacqueta - awful Kehrer - awful Emerson - can't get in the side ahead of Cresswell Areola - can't displace Fabianski Cornet & Aguerd permanently crocked. Downes is the only success. Yep. For someone who does extra due diligence & don't sign someone for the sake of it fuck me he has got it horribly wrong. Worse transfers than what Pellegrini served up."

Exactly If he was going to keep playing this way why not just buy Ollie Watkins and mcginn who would have fit perfectly

"ted fenton 12:00 Tue Dec 27 Worse than that Ted he buys players that don't fit his deep counter attacking system! It's as if over the summer he wanted to build a more attacking, possession based game considering the players he brought in but has basically reverted to type and now doesn't have the players to play his deep counter. Totally lost the plot."

"So after 6 weeks of apparently trying to right out awful start to the season Moyes sets up and plays the exactly same way So ducking predictable, we have completely wasted 6 weeks of a new manager bedding in. Soucek still starting is a joke."

I doubt the SPIVS are giving Moyes 3 games. More of a belief there are 3 teams worse than us. Last night was a free hit for Moyes. Getting turned over by the league leaders away from home is what Moyes does.

Moyes buys decent players plays them out of position or up front on their own then sells them and they become decent players again !!!! Weird that.

I didn't watch his press conference but did he really dig out Benny again? What the fuck!!! I'm so tired of him now. He's like that sick old teacher at school who keeps having a go at you for no fucking reason. He needs to step down. It's embarrassing.
