Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes decision not to buy in January last season probably cost us at a minimum a Europa league place, his inability to change formations and what now seems a falling out with staff and players should really leave Sullivan no choice but to sack him .One thing Moyes is good at is consistently loosing away to the top six ."

Re: Moyes Out
pdbis Yeah I twigged that as well and I also saw that Ratcliffe the billionaire geezer is sniffing around the Yids. How depressing that we're so inactive in any sort of ambition as the apathy continues at a relentless pace. Merry Christmas everyone we all deserve it.
Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes peaked about 14 months ago, when we beat Liverpool at the OS and Klopp went into a rage. There was then an international break and on our return we started to fall apart, never mind the January transfer window was close. Everyone, including Moyes, knew our squad was not up to it, we even named 3 keepers and some kids as our subs on more than one occasion. Along came January and the prat we have as a manager was determined not to bring in anyone who was not better than what we had! His no doubt well paid recruitment team together with the ditherer (his words) could not find anyone even allowing for our subs situation. This failure had an impact upon the fans and no doubt the very small squad. We struggled through to seasons end and somehow managed to earn a place in Europe and the summer transfer window was upon us. Despite Moyes insistence that we did not have the financial clout to compete with the top clubs he spent a record sum on bringing players in but we left it late. I wonder how many we brought in were on his original list of targets, not many I suspect. Thus far this season he has demonstrated he has no idea whatsoever how/where to play his signings, tactically he is totally inept. Our squad was not match fit, could neither pass nor hit a barn door from 12 yards so they took some holiday. AND the incompetent idiot is still our manager, hopefully he won't be given further funds to waste and his demise is very close. A half decent board would have sacked him 6 weeks ago, and so to part 2 of this season. Will we be surprised, can the idiot change the way we play and lift the morale of all around? I somehow doubt it and have to say I have lost interest after over 50 years of supporting The Hammers, very sad but a big defeat by the gunners might turn things around. Happy Christmas and New Year everyone!!"

"Leonard Hatred Very touched by your interest in my happiness. If you want to know, apart from yourself, I live a very happy life. But this site is about football and in particular West Ham in case you didn't know. Related to football, I will be happy to see Moyes gone. And related to this Forum, I will be happy to read your rip thread. Now leav me alone you fat freak"

"The club has in my lifetime never been run in a professional way Penny pinching with the Cearns and run as market traders by the current spivs We are crying out to be run as an outfit befit of the Premier league Hence why we always get second rate managers I long for the day where we are taking over by a set up who know what they are doing, invest in the facilities both ground and training ground Have a sustainable vision and just dont make it up as they go along We have no vision at all, its just muddling by hoping everything will be OK"

"Just look at Moyes heritage from Manchester, Real S and Sunderland. This isn't going to end well. Incompetence from top to bottom."
Re: Moyes Out
"Fair points Nagel and Trundle . I fear however that if results don't improve and the board keeps Moyes in place , then Noble will be expected to toe the party line and undermine his own credibility. Needs to keep his head down."

Re: Moyes Out
"""How do you know that a person is unqualified for a role, when you don't know what that role actually is?"" I have no real idea what a Sporting Director does, apart from being an intermediary between the board/manager and playing staff. And if you look at other clubs who have them, it's normally been an ex player. Noble was probably doing all this before he retired anyway, so if that's the case, then he's probably the best qualified for it. Isn't he doing a more senior version of what Carlton is doing for the YOOFS?"
Re: Moyes Out
"How do you know that a person is unqualified for a role, when you don't know what that role actually is? One of his duties is going to be helping new and academy players adapt to the club, same as he did as club captain, so there's literally no-one more qualified than him. There's nowt wrong with the appointment at all, just don't expect him to act as a director of football and have much influence on recruitment, etc."
Re: Moyes Out
"Good points Boleyn . Noble runs a big risk of undermining his relationship with the fan base . He is totally unqualified for this role , whatever it actually is . It's more nepotism , Moyes son scouting for the club ! What happens to Noble when Moyes goes ?"

Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes 3/1 to be next Premiership manager sacked, 2nd favourite behind Lampard. I think he will go when we lose to Arsenal and then Brentford! While you're at it, stick some on Arsenal beating us at 1/2, 50% return better than any of the shite share tips on WHO."

"Russ of the BML 11:38 Thu Dec 22 Yep, pretty much nail on head. In short, he's no different to how Allardyce was at the end now, he knows the majority of the fanbase have turned on him so is in defence mode now, and we know that never ends well."

Re: Moyes Out
"In addition to the embarrassment of the dipshit Moyes still being in a job they double down by appointing a sporting director in Noble who has no experience, no credentials and no idea what it takes to do the job. The only credential is he played for us. And. He then trebles down, if that is a thing, by trotting out the usual little old West Ham defeatist crap by saying 'we aint got a chance of keeping Rice if the big boys want him' Whilst that may be true, why fucking say it. Gives them the upper hand in negotiating knowing we will bend over at the earliest opportunity and be thankful for it. God bless yer guv'nor. FFS"

Re: Moyes Out
"David L 9:52 Thu Dec 22 Indeed. And I think it was those comments that was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Just embarrassing. Saying you are doing something right because you are on the same points as a club that has had its worst start to a PL season ever. A club that sold all (bar two) of its best players and bought nobody. A club in disarray. The Leicester fans must have looked at those comments and wondered why on earth Moyes would feel they are doing anything right. From that moment onwards I've not been able take anything he says seriously. He's truly lost the plot. The words that come from his mouth just grate me. And, not sure if anyone else has noticed, how he now slips in the mention of being in Europe with literally every fucking sentence he speaks. The bloke has become a joke."
Re: Moyes Out
"So here is the reason Moyes is still in charge. Basically they don't want to part with another penny before they go. Why? The sale price to Kretinsky is already agreed, with a share option price. The amount of money in West Ham's coffers, doesn't affect that price, in any way. So if they sacked Moyes and bunged him £10 million in compo, or sold Declan in the transfer window for £75 million, neither would affect the amount of money, they will get for their shares. Were we to be relegated, that wouldn't affect the share option price, but Kretinsky may not take up the option."
Re: Moyes Out
Never forget Moyes comments before the Leicester game that because we were on the same points as them he must be doing something right. We were only on the same points for 90 minutes longer.

"I think it's pretty evident now that there time here has run its course and they won't be here too much longer. When you look at how many other PL clubs have changed ownership since they took over it's hardly a shock that they will be moving on themselves, they ain't getting any younger either."

Re: Moyes Out
I see claretandhugh are saying GSB will sell once the embarrassment clause runs out . So here is the reason Moyes is still in charge. Basically they don't want to part with another penny before they go .
