Moyes has done this a number of times. He has gone super defensive by taking off Antonio for a dm and has pushed Paqueta into a striker's role. It has never worked for the perfectly obvious reason that Paqueta is there to supply the striker and he can't supply himself. He's a bit of a cսnt is Moyes.

""" we had previous games against Villa""ù a team that sits fourth in the table and is having one of their best seasons in years who have also spent a small fortune on players. Yeah, it's a shocking result drawing with that lot as is drawing with Spurs. What an absolute disaster."

Bringing on Johnson to fill the void of Bowen moving up front plus providing defensive cover for the slow Coufal is also a move that can be justified when Gordon was exposing Coufals lack of speed. I get why he did it.

"North Bank 5:07 Thu Apr 4 He had no choice. He had to get a result at Spurs and if it meant fucking up Antonio he was going to do it. He doesnt care about his players beyond his own ego. The thing with Moyes I find is that he doesnt have a plan b, ever. It's like he's surprised when something doesnt work, like he's startled as to why with 40yrs of footballing knowledge he gets things wrong. If you dont have a plan b or even c, you dont have a plan a! Thats the point of managing anything, IT, Retail, Football etc.. It's funny but at Newcastle his remedy for Philips being shit was Johnson, But why didn't he just fix the real problem of not having a genuine no.9 on the pitch so we stop sitting back? Or even sub the fucking sub! Johnson for Philips would have been better at 3-3! (Philips would have cut his wrist then I'd imagine). I dunno... just ranting now. I'll be surprised if we dont finish 10th tbh. We're an injury away from completely imploding again the way we are managed."

Anyway didnt he push Paqueta further forward as well which meant all link up and creativity was lost... again down to Moyes... Like I said thanks Davey boy but shut the door on you way out.

Managers get paid to get decisions like that right. By his own admission Moyes got it wrong. Get it wrong and you rightfully get criticised.

But Nutsack it didnt work against Villa in fact Im not sure if there are any cases where Moyes makes that change that it has worked... we always end up sitting back and conceding possession. What he did didnt work no matter how you spin it... and when he made those changes we all (except chumps like you ) knew what the outcome would be... thats not hindsight I think its a prediction so fuck off back under Moyes's bed...

I'll stop you at the start..... We didn't have hindsight we had the previous games where Phillips has been useless at stopping goals being scored to know what was going to happen this time round.....

"Even though you all have hindsight to make your case on what Moyes did wrong, let's look at the facts as they happened. Newcastle are pushing forward and creating chances they just had two clear chances so to sit there and do nothing would not have been wise, they're 3-1 down so have to go for it and we can't hope that they continue to miss, so you can make a case for making a change at 3-1 up. So in hindsight you all say Bring on Ings, Cornet or Mubama instead of putting Bowen up front, I think I prefer Bowen's chances to score the fourth more than any of these options. Plus Bowen can run the channels and finish, something that the others are not as effective at. So now I've explained the amount of recovery time that a pro footballer needs to fully recover between games coupled with the fact that the style of game Antonio excels in is running channels to run in on goal, (he is not at his best when his back is to the goal now is he.) hopefully now you understand the need to replace him with Bowen as opposed to fucking Danny Ings""¶.. to say that bringing Ings on doesn't change our shape is not completely accurate. And Mubama has already proven he is not the answer either. I believe having our top goal scorer up front to score a 4th makes more sense. I can see why Moyes chose the option he did, as I've said Phillips shit the bed, however What happened with the penalty had happened earlier to Coufal so some credit has to be given to Gordon who was a handful all afternoon for all of our defenders, not just Phillips. In hindsight Phillips has been a disaster and to lose that game should never of happened so I get the anger, but understand Moyes had to make changes as Newcastle were threatening and Antonio is needed for the rest of the season including the Spurs game only 3 days later. Bowen was the best option up front to score a 4th. Phillips wasn't the only player caught out by Gordon's quickness. We were missing Alvarez so to put Phillips in at the time to shore up the defense that is being over run can also be a move that can be justified. So stop all the nonsense that Moyes doesn't know what he is doing or that you know better, some times changes a manager makes work and sometimes they don't. Overall I'd say Moyes is doing a good job, yeah this year we've had our challenges but we've had our share of key players being out since Jan too, something that matters, as has Eddie Howe, yet according to some Eddie has the answer even though Newcastle have struggled because of injuries. So stop the madness with your ridiculous expert advice, they are mere talking points that have the fit of hindsight. To hound a good manager out of the club is fking idiotic."

"Nutsin Nobody cares what you think.... you are going to be heart üíî broken come the end of the season cos your bestest hero is going to leave... Thanks for the memories Dave you won us a trophy that was great but youve struggled in the league and developing a player or a squad has proved to be beyond your skill set... not your fault but Tim's going to do that from now on and we're going to get someone younger in with Some more progressive ideas about how to utllise the player Tim selects and progress the youth players that Kev and Steve are bringing on, oh you didnt know we had a youth set up, well we do... anyway close the door on your way out!"

The only Tottenham fans on a wind up are those that stick up for Moyes at every opportunity.....you would not want Moyes out from a Tottenham's supporters perspective. So you've been a bit thick about how football works AGAIN.

"There use to be a poster who's user name was the hammers sign, he fucked off after I outed him as a yid. I had noticed that he'd disappeared but then realized that all he had done is change his name to Massive attack. Massive attack is on here to wind up West Ham fans, that's all, he admitted it. He is a yid. I've outed him again, hopefully this time he fucks off permanently. And yes, I do rate Moyes and I am fucking thankful for all the success he has brought us these last few years and long may it continue."
