There's nothing I've seen with Parker that would suggest he's the answer. Plus he's a bit CRINGE.

"All of that said, I'm generally in favour of a young manager , and it may well be the case that Parker has learned his lesson after he embarrassed himself after the Liverpool game. I have my doubts, as that meltdown had all the hallmarks of him not being 'mentally' ready to play for us as he engineered his move to spurs."

"I hadn't realised we were trying to get promoted. Neil Warnock has an excellent promotion record. Wouldn't want him either. His time in the Premier league has been an abject failure by any measure, and both teams he's managed have improved instantly when he left. Wouldn't particularly want Gerrard either, and he's had more success."

"you missed out the bit where both clubs he has been at he got promoted to the premier league He is regarded as a good coach, and knows our club inside out. Him working with say Nolan and Noble I think till end of season at least would improve on Moyes Hopefully Nevin stays too"

"Not sure why people think pochettino is unrealistic. His time in Paris was a failure, and his last 25 games at spurs yielded 24 points - not dissimilar to moyes here I suspect. He should be grateful he's being talked about, not the other way round. As for Parker, I'd rather keep moyes. Had one full premier league season and got 25 points. Jumped ship from that club, who immediately improved and beat his new club to the league title. Came up, lost 9-0, threw his toys out of the pram and got tinned. Again, as soon as he left, they improved. Nothing there to suggest he has anything about him whatsoever"

I say that because they don't really consider sacking managers unless they feel they may get relegated and as bad as we are imo we won't go down we just won't be challenging for Europe again The owners priority is premier league football and the money that goes with it and sticking with Moyes will probably guarantee that I'd be absolutely astonished if they sacked him before the end of the season it's not really their M.O they kept both Grant and BFS when we were far worse than this

"Has to go today, give a new boss the world cup break to inject some new ideas into the players. We need alot of work on the training pitch to look a threat going forward again. Poch would be the dream but I agree that can't see him wanting to come here. Scott Parker Thomas Frank Marcelo Bielsa Those would be my 3, in no particular order"

Why do our fans have this weird notion West Ham could get poch and tuchel They're waiting for a CL club to call them up Be realistic at least

Having said that I would take either Poch or Tuchel yesterday!

If I was the board I would make a decision after the Leics game on Saturday. If he gets a reaction and 3 points from the players after yesterday then he still has the job (for now). Little problem of a Blackburn game on Wednesday too and I want us to go strong on all cup comps. Two wins this week please then I can enjoy the World Cup!!

Even the shysters must know Moyes isn't turning this around. We're in the exact same death spiral that we were under pellegreeni bilic etc . I'd be happy with bielsa or parker until the summer.

"Norf - Disagree. They have gave him 180 mil to spend and the owners have to sit and watch this garbage like we do too, they won't be happy. Then there are no signs of him turning it around at all, and the fans will turn, plus likely disgruntled players and then the risk of relegation. All this means he will go. Yes, he has got some credit left still and we are still in Europe, but I've never really got why some think he is bullet proof? No manager at this level survives if it's utter shit for a prolonged period."

I don't think for one minute the club will sack him even though I don't think for one minute he has the ability to turn it round If they did I'd like to see Rodger's watched Leicester play Everton the other day and they were everything we aren't they play out from the back have pace everywhere press from the front and generally play on the front foot. Emery would of been a great choice but unfortunately villas hierarchy is a bit more decisive than ours

Any manager with an attacking philosophy would bring about huge short term improvement. These players hate playing under Moyes that even Stevie wonder could see it .

"Vexed 12:41 Mon Nov 7 Howe is ""Bob average""..... Yeah, I used to think the same thing but after keeping a bob average team like Bournemouth in the Premier for a couple of years and taking Newcastle to to top of the league you have to start wondering if West Ham missed out. Pelegrini was our big name manager and we all saw how that turned out."

"It's clear now, and has been for a while, that he is NOT going to turn this around. the rot has set in and it will only get worse, if possible. We are a disgraceful side and we will go down as it stands, the cunts aren't capable of doing anything that even remotely resembles a PL outfit.. The board have a responsibility to do the right thing by 62000 paying 'customers' On your bike, Moyes. Fuck off."

"January would be a very mental time to sack someone given that if you sacked them a couple of fixtures previous, they'd effectively have a preseason and a month to implement their ideas. It's either next week or next summer."

Most of us realise it was Kretinsky who gave the ok to splurge £180 million in the Summer. It will be Kretinsky who fire's the gun. And Kretinsky who hires the replacement. It won't be a Sully Special.

Vincent Kompany R√∫ben Amorim Ange Postecoglou 3 realistic choices to replace Moyes - all play good football and would get a better tune out of the squad we have imo

"Making a managerial switch now would be perfect timing. You would have plenty of time during the WC to implement new rules, training methods and tactics. January could be to late"

It's becoming clear that our reality sucks. Because It's a persistent problem that Moyes doesn't seem able to fix. At some point you have got to make a move. Bringing in a new manager at the start of the World Cup makes a lot of sense to me.

"Aguerd being fit will change fuck all, moyes is never gonna let his defence push up the pitch. It's to risky for him to play like that."
