it's an achievement to pride yourself on defensive stability yet still concede almost two goals a game

"As well as Moyes gutless post-match admittance I posted up before, Postecoglu in his one literally spells out how we play under Moyes and what to predictably expect... https://youtu.be/Ffsf5okX-Gg?si=kht5Hg2687lSl3Tv Sitting deep, a threat on set-pieces and due to our amazing front 4 we can still manage to hurt teams even when we're often calmed in our own half on the occasional break. He knows, like so many managers that we will never try to control games by passing the ball, it'll always be from feeding off any scraps we are fortunate to pick up from the opposition. It kills me because of the quality players the Gutless wonder has had at his disposal and yet continously tries to stifle them from playing for fear of always conceding. Imagine how much better we could have been had they been encouraged to keep hold of the ball and actually play Football, attacking at will..... Because had we done, it would have been us sitting where Villa are now, or Newcastle last season in the top 4 qualifying for the Champions League."

Rodney Marsh💙™️ @RodneyMarsh10 >Watched #WHU many times this season. Unpopular take? They should be a much better team than they are!

"Russ There is no correct sub with the bench he has assembled. thats the point. Every sub he makes produces a less effective side. He can only make a sub to rest players like that if he's winning with a big margin and even then he fucked it up against Newcastle! (on paper bringing on England international CDM to shore up a game your wining 3-1 makes perfect sense). Given the way Moyes has setup and coached the team we are literally 1 selection away from a loss all the time. Take out Paq, we're dead. take put Alavrez, dead. Take out Antonio now, dead. It's mental, but thats how he's set the whole thing up. I think you'd be right if he coached the bench properly or blooded them in over the season but he doesnt want to do that. He expects players that rarely play to make an impact, and then when they dont he drops them. It's just silly right now, but it is what it is."

threesixty 12:59 Wed Apr 3 No he wouldn't. Not if he made the correct sub with the right intention. But he cannot because after four years the soppy cսnt has failed disgracefully to create a decent squad.

Wd40 - Has it even occurred to you that when 3-1 up and the opposition's weakness is their defence that if you don't sit so deep in own box inviting them into it VAR can't give them penalties.. If you invite a shit storm into your penalty area shit will happen. I love the way Moyes has brainwashed some of our fans into thinking we should be happy to get a point at home to them... As we approach the game like a newly promoted side in awe of our 'big team' opposition...then boasting that he would have taken a point before the game.. Cause you can't expect little West Ham to win against a 'big team' at home.

Moyes has had four years to get together a squad yet after all of that time he hasn't got the confidence in any one outside of 12 players to make any substitutions when we are getting down to the business end of the season and are playing two games a week. And that is having been blessed with a pretty injury free season to date. I'm not Danny Ings or Cornet's biggest fans but surely either of them for the last fifteen minutes last night or Mubama's freshness to save Antonio's legs had to be worth it?

Three wins in 16 games in 2024 now under this dour DOOFUS. Two wins in 12 in the Premier League in 2024. You might think we have a tiny squad of tired players being flogged to death by a DINOSAUR OF A JOCKOSAURUS twat manager or something.

Sydney... Moyes didnt make subs because he was petrified that making a change would open him up to further criticism if it went wrong. His squad and in game management is surely the worst in the prem... who else would flog their players into the ground with such important games coming up. Its a situation he has created with his squad management and player development which are both pretty non-existent.. The guy is a loser as his stats show

"not trying to absolve Moyes from complete blame, but if he would have made a sub and lost he would have got mullered on here. The reality is the 1st 11 are the only top performers in the squad. There is no one on the bench he could bring on to perform better than even tired players on the pitch. Maybe Johnson for Coufal would have been an upgrade but that was it. Even Ings for Antonio is not the same thing at all. What we've found out about Ings nowadays is that he's a better deep lying forward/10 than a normal no.9 nowadays. So swapping Antonio for him would not have stopped Spurs pressing up higher. When Alvarez is back, JWP doesnt even make the team, especially now Bowen is taking good corners. The bench is shit basically. Thats the Moyes legacy. But no subs last night was the right call imho."

"""likewise with your stupid 12-year-olds comment about Moyes not making subs out of spite?"" have you seen our fixture schedule for the next few weeks? do you think it's rational behaviour not freshening up the team? you clearly don't listen to him talk as he clearly despises the fan base and anyone that dares question his methods. of course it was out of spite, like it was also out of spite that he moved on two of the players he hated in january knowing full well they weren't being replaced (two that were a big part in him winning his lone fucking trophy). his only loyalty is to David Moyes. post some more marshy videos, you cringeworthy cսnt"

Any thoughts on considering Kieran McKenna as manager? Probably 2 consecutive promotions at Ipswich. Rumours of Man Utd wanting him as manager.

Fully agree Sydney iron. Moyes out brigade not even taking into account the awful referee /var work just giving them two penalties in the Newcastle game . Again just slagging him off slagging the owners off and never putting up names to replace them Apart from the love in with the Spurs manager of course and praising their ground and training buildings along side it Keep going Moyes best manager since Lyall. Facts speaks for them selves

"For 90% of that 2nd half, we spent it with 11 men behind the ball, essentially camped in our own fucking box, with the score 1-1 at home to Spurs. And we have some fans who are happy with that? Hang your heads in fucking shame. Still, at least we didn't get pumped 0-6 (SIX) at home to London rivals *thumbs up*"

Massive: 100%. Moyes dour and negative attitude is squeezing the life out of the supporters. His constant historic references are infuriating. The bloke is an energy drain.

"I've just put this on the Phillips thread, but it's probably better off in here. We have a squad of 14 players now that Phillips is banished with he rest of the nonentities we have that sit on the bench. And I'm including 2 goalkeepers in that squad of 14. No other manager manages this way."

"Nutsin 5:48 Tue Apr 2 Fair enough response. I don't dismiss the abysmal officiating. But again, in my humble opinion the pressure created by Newcastle, if not wholly created by Moyes, was certainly assisted by his change of set up. But there you go. You are almost certainly right that Newcastle were starting to create before the changes. At 3-1 up in PL you have to expect a comeback of sorts. And you have the able to cope with it. Our players didn't and Phillips was the creator of his own, and our, downfall."
