"Surface, to each their own. I put on gigs with my brother, and the quality of music is as good as/better than it's ever been. So many brilliant artists out there, but the main stream media is exceptionally lazy in searching new music, so you'll never get to hear them unless you listen to smaller radio stations or start going to gigs in small venues, follow independent music blogs."

dm 11:19 Thu Aug 1 I think you're right. Just depends where you look. I stumbled across this lot recently. Sleepmakeswaves. Worth a listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwVxPW1P888&t=1660s

"SurfaceAgent Think we will have to agree to disagree on that I am of the opinion that for the last 20 years or so we have been living in an absolute golden age of great progressive rock. And there is every sign that this is going to continue. In every issue of PROG I see articles or reviews that lead me to check out new albums. And on the free CDs that comes with every issue there is always something interesting on. Its just that apart from the odd artist such as Steven Wilson, none of it gets anywhere near the mainstream."
