So....on to the seagulls. Soler is suspended for this one, and Emerson is back...although I'd say Coufal was very good in the last game. Not clear yet if Todibo is recovered from his damaged toe.

My lineupPrediction:

Another dreary home performance. People on here saying we are making progress. I just don’t see it. This is exactly the sort of performance we saw last season. Relying on a bit of magic from Bowen.

that was coming all day long. No outlet, giving the ball away time and again against this lot and eventually you get punished.

Given how little attacking impetus we have i think thats us done.

No, both down as of five mins ago.

Pretty even, we looked the more threatening at the beginning but Brighton were as the half wore on.

Not a single shot on target for us so far.

Stavros with yet another error lucky for him the foot of god intervened and tripped the Brighton player up as he was in on goal. Luckily for us.
Really is amazing how we get away with it every week.

we need to appeal Stavros’ yellow card though, it was a Brighton player that fouled his own team mate, it should get over turned.

On a positive we do have better movement off the ball, too many offsides though so need to time our runs better and need Fulkrig to push up on to the last man to keep their back line more honest, he looks to be a little off the pace which is understandable but he needs to get up to speed sharpish.

Looking for a better performance the second half.

No cutting edge, Stavros and co still scare us all with his decision making ( Stavros lost it with an impossible attempt to dribble thru 3 players, got caught in possession , looks like a pen everytime with his tackling in the box).  

We have soft possession in our own half but cannot break thru Brighton and essentially rely on the tactic of long ball over the top like Moyes teams did. 

Got narrow defeat written all over it with us having maybe 5 attempts on goal over 90 mins.  Fullkrug is a poor man’s Chris Wood at best.  Not quick we know but not exactly strong either. Reminds me of many CFs you see in the lower divisions. Hopefully hes decent with his head.

Kudus has no end product and seems to be suffering from either being out of position and / or has just been worked out by most teams who double up on him, dont let him turn or run.
