So the general consensus is from previous games it was clear bringing on Phillips would lead to goals being conceded so with this being the case the better punt would have been to bring on fresh legs for Antonio in the hope it would peg them back a bit seeing as the 'shut up shop' hasn't worked well this season without Alvarez. Fabianski was deemed the League Keeper that season, just as Areola is now for this one and Coufal didn't start due to returning back from injury back then.
