"Despite some of nastiness and unessesary insults from some people on this site, 10 of thousands of fans today at the game gave Moyes a great send off. A few setbacks next season and the same suspects will be on here whinging and moaning."

"From Irvine Welsh, on Twitter; ""At Davie Moyes last home outing at @WestHam today. Fittingly a game of two halves, one dull and stunted, the other exciting and dynamic. Ultimately though, it's about resources. If you want the next guy to do better, give him more. Otherwise, he'll do worse""ù Fucking hell""¶."

"I dont know why its only West Ham fans that see him for what he is a nast, selfish, narcissist that treats our club with contempt just the most revolting of people... Glad he's gone and I hope he never gets another job so we dont have to see his wrinkly ball bag face blaming another bunch of players for his ineptitude.."

"Agree Lowlife. Thats a big reason why he had to go. Handling of the squad appalling at times. ""Obfuscate""ù is the word that describes what he does which attempts to make things unclear, unintelligible and obscure. This is achieved by throwing Alvarez under the bus onto the leper bench with Cornet and others in the past. Its all to deflect from Moyes shicking defensive record imo . Prides himself on the idea that a Moyes team is organised, structured and hard to beat. The very opposite this season particularly."

"A sign of the class that Moyes has displayed this week is that when asked why we are conceding so many goals, he says ""We don't have Declan Rice""ù. In the very next game he drops Alvarez, as if to make some point that only makes sense to him. ""Rice's replacement, who was picked by Steidten, isn't as good and it's all their fault""ù An absolute cսnt of a thing to do and is one of a very long list of things that shows how weak he is (and he probably thought it was some sign of strength). And some think that he is our best manager since Lyall. Fucking hell."

Been a bit quiet as just returned from a nigh on three week tour of the US.... well not a surprise that he has gone as the war drums were getting louder... probably correct call... him and the club go with their dignity intact... hopefully he will get a great send off... yeah sometimes the football has been shit but on the whole his time here he has delivered far more than I imagined he would when he got his second gig ... now hopefully all the fucking MOANING will stop and the new bloke given a go...

Did like his pisstake of Klopp when asked about his reaction to leaving on the pitch saying he isn't a fist pumping to the crowd sort of manager & reckons his teeth aren't big enough

"He did still get a big of a dig in when he said some things in football can be done better, with zero self awareness of course, yea like not losing 5-0 every week after saying before the game we will be doing everything we can to win. Just fuck off already."

"Class & respect? He's spent the last 2 years belittling this football club and slagging off the fans at EVERY opportunity. He's said a couple of nice things now because he's desperate to look like the good guy who's been wronged, mainly for perspective future jobs. I debated with someone on here the first time we let him go, and I said there's no way he'll get another Premier League job. So it proved, and he was still available when he came back in. It'll be the same this time, no one in the Prem will give him a job, the only team this summer could be Forest, but they'll probably stick with Nuno. Possible a relegation troubled team will give him a go midway through the season, but he won't inherit a squad like he did with us. Shut the door on your way out."

"""To finish in the top 10 would be excellent for us""ù haha! I just wish someone in the media would actually challenge him for once. It'll be nauseating having to listen to him on TalkSport during the Euros if I bother to stick it on."

"it's why I refer to them as a cult. anyone with a functioning brain should have worked out the cսnt a long time ago. I'm not sure luton will share the goodwill today, and if it's true the preparations and training this week has been less than professional, we could get another hiding"

"Nicky from WHTV said recently that the whole season has been about Moyes, which I think summed it up well and is very true. This season has been a write off, in almost every press conference it's been all about is he staying or going and the never ending references about past ''achievements'' like the present and future are not even important. Me, me, fucking me. The cսnt is a self obsessed narcissist who thinks he has done us all a favour. Funny, only two games left and it still feels like two too many, he should have been put on gardening leave a while back, but instead he has stunk the place out while losing 5-0 every week. He's now claiming that a top 10 finish is an achievement, you really couldn't make it up, he's got more front than Brighton. A send off? He should be sent off. He hates us and we hate him, well most anyway. Fuck off and good riddance."

"""To finish in the top 10 would be excellent for us""ù A truly idiotic thing to say considering a lot of how shit we've been has been because of him. I wouldn't say that's a classy thing to say when leaving. He could, and should, have said that this season has been a disappointment for us and that he wishes whoever takes over from him good luck. That would have been classy and would have got a lot more respect. Instead of this we have the media running pieces on how badly he's been treated - which is utter bollocks. He's not even been sacked. Funny that the media class Brighton as ""òsmart operators' who have a number of potential managers already lined up to take over. Not West Ham though, it's shocking that we have been talking to other prospective managers. I wouldn't say I'm foaming at the mouth, but I do have zero respect for the classless way that Moyes has been talking for a while."

"Despite Moyes being told we're moving on from him, he's going out in a classy and respectful way. Unsure why people are foaming at the mouth over how he's handling his business. Weird."
