Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano · Follow Man United accepted £30m proposal from West Ham for Harry Maguire three days ago. ???????????????????????????????? #MUFC Understand deal’s not done yet because Man United want to start talks and pick favorite candidate as replacement before letting Harry go.

24 hours to the start of the season and our 'captain' hasn't joined yet!! I thought the new Director of Football was brought in by the board to improve upon the absolutely disastrous performance of our recruitment lot last year. Do we have a board or simply a bunch of yes sir no sir dummies who no doubt draw their wages whilst playing no part in the future of our club. Why don't they show their spines and sort this, let us see the new Director given the responsibility he was brought in for. If moyes doesn't like it get rid of him. 24 hours to the start of the season, no captain, players left, coaches left and others want to leave, one player joined and nobody appears to give a damn.

I don't like the system but I do like the fact that there is finally a clear strategy and cohesion between the managers playing style and the players signed.

Here's a fairly decent analysis of how Harry Maguire might fit in at WH under Moyes... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhKNVxsQNWw&t=8s

Iron2010 - You've answered your own question, that's exactly the reason why. Nobody wants to watch that shit, well most don't anyway.

I'm amazed that people will complain at this one. We sit deep, encourage the opposition wide as we back ourselves to defend crosses and we look to score from set pieces. I honestly can't think of two better signings than Maguire and JWP for this system.

I said - "Maguire is considering his options according to reports. " What's wrong with that? It's true but just differs from your gobby opinions. You really aren't clever enough to play at being Vexed mate...

Are you revered on these other sites you lift from, as much as you are on here, Willtell?

He's not having second thoughts, he's sorting his pay off out from Man Utd, but you carry putting up bollocks though if you get a buzz out of that.

Maguire can fuck off if he doesn’t want to join. Same for any other cսnt, including the ones that don’t want to be here. First game tomorrow, and as usual we are ill prepared.

I don’t think he has other options. Maybe Everton, or staying at Man Utd. The delay could be down to him negotiating his £6m sweetener to take a pay cut with us.

Maguire is considering his options according to reports. I guess WHU is a step down for a Man Utd player. And Moyes was a failed Man Utd manager so coming to play for him suggests they were both failures in his mind... Let's hope he doesn't consider his options for too long otherwise Steidten will come up with alternative CB's that cost a lot less. Perhaps he's waiting for a Notts Forrest to throw loads of money at him...

made - I thought the same thing. The cut off to be able to play on Saturday is midday tomorrow, so maybe that is the target?

Why is this and the JWP signing taking 2 or 3 days to get over the line when everything is agreed. Like the mexican deal as well? Surely they were both agreed yesterday morning, drive to us by early afternoon and then announce it in the afternoon. We always seem to take days to sort a signing and not sure why. Personal terms etc must all be done and dusted within half hour
