“I have long ago informed Tim Cook of Apple that I expect their iPhones that will be sold in the United States of America will be manufactured and built in the United States, not India, or anyplace else.”

who’s wrong about what now?
You were laughing because you were saying that apple were no gonna be making I phones in the USA after they announced the India production.
basically Mocking Trump for stating that they were NOT gonna be made in the USA.

Looks like you were wrong, Trump has told them build them in the USA or be Tariffed.

Let’s see if Apple defies Trump…. I have a funny feeling that not only will Apple build them in the USA but they will build them and Apple will eat the additional cost.

suffice to say, Trump is insisting they do what’s right for the US consumer, How much money do they need before they give something back? They will after all benefit from the tax cuts in Trumps big beautiful.

Well played the Donald!
If you think they’ll be manufacturing iPhones in the USA, then I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

Estimates are between $3,000 to $3,500 to manufacture an iPhone in the USA 😂
Estimates Lol! Who’s estimates are those CNN’s ffs.

You honestly think those numbers are accurate ffs.

Nothing but propagandist bullshit as usual.

unbelievable how gullible you are.

I think you’ll find borrowing costs went way
up under Biden. Not sure anyone has ever said Trump has a magic wand and can fix all Joe’s fuck ups over night.

I think you’ll find wage increases and lower taxes will more than compensate for a minimal increase on the items we get from China, Remember now it was only a week ago when you were laughing that Apple were building their I phones in India and not the USA, falsely calling out Trump for saying they were gonna be built in the USA.

Looks like you were wrong about that as well!

Dumb guy!

Have borrowing costs gone up or down since Trump took office? His tariffs and their impact have made it impossible for the FED to drop rates. That is on Trump. Lucky TACO 🌮 otherwise we’d be calling him Donald Truss.

as for inflation, I’ve already pointed out to you that it went up month on month, and that manufacturing input costs are going up.

aside from that, your biggest retailers are telling you prices will go up. You just wait until those American made iPhones hit the shops 😂 😂 😂

Taco isn’t a silly liberal sound bite?

As for the national debt, not sure how that is all Trumps fault.
As for interest rates being up, if you had half a brain you’d know they were up while Biden was in office due to Biden’s inflation problem, Raised by the Fed to counter inflation, It is the Fed who sets monetary policy and Trump has been telling Powell to lower rates for months.
So yes it is another ridiculous liberal sound bite when it was Biden who put us here.
Funny how you’ve stopped talking all that bollocks about inflation all of a sudden. You starting to realize that you are a simpleton yet?

Again showing just how dumb you are.

Your gigantic national debt isn’t a blip, neither is it growing by 8%. Trump is making a bad problem worse.

as for the rest, I pointed out below that your manufacturing input costs are going up while output is slowing off and jobs are being lost.

Nobody said that taking on China wouldn’t have a cost but in the long run it will pay big dividends which includes protecting and increasing US Jobs, wage growth, reduction in trade deficits, a reduction in Fetanyl killing Americans and fair trade, which includes China stops its dumping practice and currency manipulation.
Also removing supply chains from China on matters

It’s about time someone stood up to these cunts, especially when they are building out their military and expanding their influence globally, I know I don’t want my kids to live in a world where China is the worlds super power.

$23bn of cost put into consumer goods? Yeh two thumbs up.
meanwhile the interest on your national debt is $952bn annually up 8% year on year. In part fuelled by the growth in borrowing costs triggered by tariffs. Enjoy paying that son.

Congrats for making steel more expensive 👏🏻

consumer spending was at 0.2%
inflation increased month on month
input manufacturing costs have gone up
manufacturing output and jobs have declined

all the while your national debt grows & grows, and Trump wants to increase it 👏🏻

At a rally in Pittsburgh Trump announced the $14 Billion Nippon deal with US Steel. It secures over 100k jobs in the rust belt. He announced that any imported steel  will be subject to a 50% Tariff, an increase of 25% of current levels. Basically pricing out foreign steel. Another big win for the US worker.

Rick Santelli was pretty excited this morning on MSNBC when going over the latest economic numbers. Wage growth was a big surprise to the upside while inflation is almost at the Feds 2% target rate. A lot lower than what it was under Biden.

Strong job market, inflation in check stock market up not a bad start.

the Stagflationists have all gone quiet.

How about covering the interest on their national debt which is costing more and more because this little episode has pushed borrowing rates up?

What a fucking mess.
Elon has fucked him off as well.

“during a White House event earlier held before the ruling was published, Trump was asked about a nickname given to him by some critics on Wall Street: Taco - which stands for "Trump always chickens out".

Since returning to office for a second time, Trump has repeatedly changed his stance on tariffs - for instance, rates on China have been slashed from 145% to 30%. Trump said "it's called negotiation" when asked about his changing stance on tariff rates, and accused a reporter of asking a "nasty question".”
