"Zeb Thanks for that, definitely good fun. I've read most of Rollins books and they're all interesting, but Get in the Van is especially good. It shows the lengths you'll go to and what you'll put up with, to do what you love and believe in."

"As for Rollins, Get in the van is a brilliant book and a fab insight into what it it like working your arse off in a band to just scrape a living. The only thing of his I have is weight and there is some good stuff in there. This is fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3PoEwRi5XQ"

Krautrock is a pretty broad term really covering everything from the synthy noodlings of Cluster to the out there bombast of Faust. Hallogallo is one of my fave sunny Spring driving tunes.

"""Another for vote for Neuschwanstein - they made some great stuff. Also fond of Jane - another underrated Krautrock band "" To call that Krautrock is a bit of a stretch. Yes they're German and yes it's rock, but Krautrock implies something altogether different. Anyway, I gave it a listen and didn't like it. For 70's German prog, try Agitation Free, Emtidi or perhaps Hoerlderlin"
