"Nobody believes that another manager would have got us in the top 4. I think that most WHU supporters think that under Moyes we've achieved about what we ought to have given our spending, relative to others in the PL and Europe. Unfortunately we've done it by playing the most godawful football imaginable. It is and should be expected that another manager could have achieved the same as Moyes has, but by playing football that's actually worth watching. And, if we wanted to be a club who plays shit football but can finish in the Europa League places (like Moyes' Everton) then we could have probably done that without moving away from Upton Park or spending as much as we have."

"For a while now I (and others) have commented on our failure to use young players, it has just been brought home to me just how bad it is. In The Times on Wednesday they devoted best part of two pages to the 'Academies creating golden age of talented youngsters'. Without going into detail they displayed a table showing Premier League minutes by players aged under 21 this season, quite a few surprises including Burnley at the top. A selection: Burnley 7,553 mins Brighton 7160 mins Chelsea 6,608 mins Man U 4855 mins Spuds 3,590 mins Man City 3136 mins Liverpool 2768 mins Newcastle 2,745 mins Crystal Palace 1502 mins Aston V 406 mins West Ham 76 mins This astounded me, if you combine it with moyes claim that he is a 'ditherer' in the transfer market then it is difficult to see how we can possibly improve our position in the Premier League. It is no good saying Steidten is handling our transfers now because he and moyes don't get on and the latter will continue to select the team and the subs. Moyes must go' and soon!"

"So Will, tell me with another manager in charge doing all the things correctly that Moyes has in your opinion gotten wrong where should we be? EPL champs? Champions league? Just how far off the mark are we in your opinion to where we should be? In your perfect world. Remember now we were in the semi's of Europa, won the Europa conference and are now in the quarter finals of Europa again."

"We are a big enough club to be challenging for CL positions. However, I would be happy with our current league position if we didn't select 3 holding midfielders against the likes of Burnley"

"Yet again the Moyes apologists completely miss the point... Firstly they point at 7th place ... which is brilliant.. however what they miss is we could be 5th if Moyes had a backbone. How we are even 7th though given we recently dropped points against Sheff Utd, Bournemouth, Burnley and Forest shows how poor the league is this year we were dropping loke a stone and one win and a draw back up to 7th... how????? Then we had players away and injuries thats why we dropped points... working with the thinnest oldest slowest squad in the league is why we dropped points every team gets injuries we have been luckier than any team with injuries so we cant point at that and the state of the squad is Moyes's fault...if he stays he should be nowhere near the buying selling and developing players... the state of the squad proves that. The style of play is just one of the many issues I have with him.. hes arrogance re his reputation, his awful man-management, the reverting to type when 1 goal up, his focus on buying JWP, Maguire, Wilson, Lingard, Ings and getting Phillips in all smack of a man who really doesnt know the transfer market. Can't utilise strikers unless they are battering rams wastinv so much money on Scamacca, Haller, Kral, Vlasic... wont blood the youth players... I mean what more do you need to understand its not just about todays result or position in table, he is wasting those attacking players we could be doing better with another manager and developing a squad... but for some reason you are totally blind to all the things he is crap at because he won a third rate european trophy which is devalued because we played pub teams till the final... his win stats are massively inflated because that Europa conference is piss easy.. getting into Europe is done by getting 7th or 8th talk of 10th this season... poor old Harry made 5th back in the day was only good enough for the intertoto which we won.. Moyes has it easy spend £400m and try and get 7th place and keyboard warriors like Nutsack and Joyless will be happy job done... well NO I say Im not putting up with all the shit that comes with Moyes so #MOYESOUT"

"If we start next season with the type of manager people desire and they see out a 4 year contract under the current ownership, what would you expect the average league position to be over those 4 years? We could have someone focused on attacking football, playing kids, doing knee slides when we score etc but can we realistically expect to average higher than 7th or 8th?"

Nutsin There's a loot of truth in what you say but some of us do give sound reasons for having lost faith with Moyes. 1) Overly defensive and poor quality of football. 2) Poor in game management. . 3) Avoiding signing young players that later become stars. 4) Avoiding playing our youth players unless they are already world class. 5) Too many bad signings. 6) Blanking players not part of the first team. 7) Lacks a vision for WHU. 8) Talks down to fans. Opposed to that is an ability to get results when he needs to justify or keep his job and winning an international cup any of our recent managers would possibly have won had they had the same opportunities and squad quality. I think you see these failings as we all do but you are prepared to accept this all the time we are in the Europa League qualifying positions and cup. We all do to a certain extent but I am still absolutely committed to Moyes leaving because his management will NOT take WHU further.

"Nutsin, Fair do's, you have your opinion are you are entitled to it. Supporting West Ham and wanting Moyes out, for all the reasons we know, are not mutually exclusive as I can attest. I vehemently support West Ham and want rid of Moyes at the same time, so therefore I am example of the above statement. HTH"

"Taki Starting with the name calling I see, that's too bad, shows you are losing the debate. Correction, it's the know nothing whiners who are the problem. The type that constantly complain no matter what. We have had over 49 years of bollox at West Ham, an occasional good year a couple of decent players and decent teams but for the most part there has been very little to get excited about. In Moyes' second tenure we have had some great players, great results, won a European trophy and had some great European wins. Has it been perfect, no! Could the football be better, yes, has it been anywhere near the disaster you pretend it is, absolutely not. You armchair managers make me laugh, you pick out one or two subs that you don't understand and all of a sudden you're manager of the fucking month. None of you really know what's going on at the club, you get your info from ex and C&H and you think you have the inside scoop. How about you just shut the fuck up for 5 mins and get behind the team for once and see what happens. There is not a single poster on here that has impressed anyone with their vast football knowledge and expertise, certainly not to the extent that they should be taken seriously ffs! You all sound pathetic if truth was told. Now off you jog to go listen to talk shite to get your next round of bullshit."
