"Can't believe Moyes said ""òus' and not ""òthem'. Either way that is a wanker sign to Sullivan and the club as a whole. I think our average was 10th before he ever joined."

"Moyes before Chelsea ""we'll try everything we can to win this game""ù This is the bullshit I won't miss as we all know what he means: Translation: ""we'll sit back and allow Chelsea to attack us for 90 minutes in the hope that our rocky defence can hold off and we can maybe spring a successful counter attack""ù"

"""What a vile, piece of work this cսnt truly is. I genuinely hate the cսnt. A born liar too"" Staggering. I won't even bother going over what Moyes has done for us because it's wasted on this pathetic specimen of a human being."

"Also trying to explain away his complete mismanagement of the team with this; ""To finish in the top 10 would be excellent for us and it's really important we win the game""ù Yes - a really excellent position that. All on an absolute shoestring too."

"I see Moyes has come out and tried to save face by saying in his press conference today he is ""comfortable"" with his contract not being renewed and that it is the right thing for him and the club. Haha. What happened to his claim in December after we beat Arsenal away that there was an offer from the club on the table and that he was sure they would get it done? Bloke's an absolute liar."

"Suspect the post match reaction for the traditional end of season lap of honour will be somewhere between about 2,000 staying to see Allardyce off and the almost full house that stayed for Noble's last game. Maybe about half full .... a quarter if we lose to Luton"

I see he has got a job with Talksport as part of their Scottish commentary team Will allow him to be back home by the end of June to chase a club job Must say I know social media has got more mental year by year but cant recall such a hysterical reaction to a manager coming out of contract Have seen some comments by Merson that indicate he is on hard drugs again .... and everyone else seems to be wishing relegation on us. Although they run a mile if anyone suggests their club take him on

I wish him well too. It was the right time to go and hopefully he gets a great send off against Luton and 3pts.

I wonder if we'll keep on Nolan? He does seem like the bridge between the players and coaches. The only other coach I'd look to keep is on is Xavi Valero. The rest all all MOYES BOYS.

"Scott you're right about that, it came out in an interview with Kevin Nolan after we'd beaten Brighton away 0-1 and he scored the winner from outside the box. He said that Fat Sam wouldn't be happy as he didn't like the players shooting from outside the box"

"Allardyce told the players at West Ham that they are not allowed to shoot from outside the box. I am sure I also heard that he would fine them if they miss? Could be bollocks. But when we signed Matty Taylor, who had scored some of the best long range goals we'd seen at the time, it seemed an absolute waste to tell him he can't shoot. That tells you what you need to know about Allardyce and his style of football."

All the likes of Allardyce & Moyes have done is made a career in spoiling a top level game of football and preventing a great spectacle being watched because they lack football intellect and instead use numbers in the way and go direct on the break as their mantras. They've been pretty damn good at it as well........not what I'd want as my life achievement in football but at least they got a career in it. Both of them best ignored.

"I see Allardyce came out with his usual nonsense attacking the fans over this. Apparently: ""People keep talking about the style of football. I've watched West Ham many a time and I can't see what they're talking about, other than the fact he has done so much attacking recently that he has forgotten his true self.""ù Sums the bloke up, he wouldn't know attacking football if prime Barca were having a kick about outside his local chippy. Although I dislike Moyes, it's never been at the levels I couldn't stand Allardyce. I remember walking to the Hull game when we scraped a 1-0 against Hull thinking it was going to be shit but it was worse than imagined. Fans told us to be careful what we wish for then. We've had some of our better prem seasons since then, have a feeling we will kick on again now and shut everyone up once more"

Hull had a good late season run and believe if that they had won at relegation candidates Plymouth they would have snuck into the last play off spot Havent seen them but suspect the sacking is partly frustration that they blew that by losing that game The Championship is just a league that you want to get out off and they were probably placed to go again next season as the teams coming down are frankly worse than those going up. It is definitely the most competitive league but you cant take anything for granted

"I see the Hull City chairman has put out a statement after sacking Liam Rosenior, which has been deemed has very harsh in most quarters. Paraphrasing, he cites, that while Liam has many qualities the owners of Hull City have big ambitions for the club which includes seeing a different style of football being played. Mmmm."

"Moyes can credit Pellegrini for leaving him behind Fabianski (1 of the best Keeper signings we've made), Fornals and polishing up Declan Rice to become the excellent Defensive Midfielder he is."

"Scott_d. I was thinking the same thing, and almost started a post on it...got half way through writing it but it quickly became clear that we actually are in better shape and have better depth, even without Fornals and Benrahama, than when he took over. When he arrived we had about 5 defenders total. Yarmalenko and Anderson were our best wide players, and central midfield was very slim pickings with ageing Noble and Snodgrass, and wet behind the ears Rice. I don't credit Moyes with that frankly...most of what's come in that's good has been the players he didn't really fancy (Kudus, Alvarez, Paqueta, Mavropanos) and guys that he was 'ok with' as punts but decided before he arrived (Bowen). But we are clearly stronger."

"Moyes said he takes pride in leaving West Ham in a better position than when he joined in 2019. No doubt we have achieved a fair amount with the top 7 finishes and of course the trophy. The question is, is this team/squad better than the one he inherited back in 2019? Does the new manager come in with a better squad than what Moyes had ?"
