"Moyes wants a small squad, because having a big squad brings with it the hassle of keeping players happy, and rotating players to keep them all at a high level of performance (a skillset he's entirely lacking). His man-management is clearly appalling, with those out of favour describing how he basically blanks them, and he has no ability to subtly change one or two players per match so that everyone gets regular game time. Moyes basically wants a clear first choice XI, 2 or 3 'go to' backups,,,and beyond that some journeymen who he can turn to in an absolute crisis. Just another of the ways in which the bloke is a total dinosaur."

"joyo unfortunately I mean our ability to press and play at a high tempo. Limits us on tactical options as we ourselves become high susceptible to counter attacks ( or in transition as is the modern day parlance) :-( Obviously Kudus and Bowen are not slow and neither is Mavropanos for a CB or Aguerd but midfield is where you need the pace for stretching teams, making a quick transition or simply passing and moving at speed to beat the pressing most teams employ. Conversely, to press well and get the ball back we need pace in abundance across the team and particularly midfield. It's why a lot of transfer business would need to happen in summer to get 4 or 5 in to address this weakness imo. The fact we have the oldest team and squad is consistent with this. One of Moyes failings is not building a squad with quality back ups in most positions. Means another large spend in summer which IMO will mean having to sell Paqueta anyway even if City ended their interest."

Do you really not know the difference between stamina and speed?

"Sir Alf you describe our squad as ""very small, old and slow squad""...yet somehow we do seem to be ok on a fitness level with the amount of late goals we get so maybe not so slow"

"This is a table showing the current form..... https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/west-ham-united/form-guide Brighton, Newcastle & Wolves don't seem to play this defensive shit we get told to watch yet they've all let in less goals.......about the worst stat you can have for a team that sets up so defensive......may as well go for it and attack instead......."

"I cannot see us making the top 8 based on remaning fixtures, our very small, old and slow squad and mediocre manager. Moyes typical points total at Everton was in the 50s and it will likely low 50s which gets us 11th, 10th ? We aint winning the Europa with Scousers, Roma etc still in it. But echoing ""nychammer 12:41 Wed Mar 13""รน, no way Sullivan appoints a progressive young manager even if strongly recommended by Steidten."

Brighton who have lost 3 of the last 4 games or Newcastle who have lost 2 and drawn 1 of their last 4 games?

ok ok ok last 3 games we are unbeaten having won two. Based on that we're in the Champions League. First 2 months of this year tell s different story. Didn't win a game and scored 4 (2 pens) and let in a boat load. Thats relegation form. SO....Which West Ham are we going to see in the run-in? Based on the OVERALL form 2024 to date we don't have it in the tank to overhaul the teams above us and we have Brighton and Newcastle breathing down our necks with better GDs. Going to be a tough one.

EPL Index 6-8 Games is Usually Deemed Current in Football Form By analysing the football teams stats and points won a comparison can be made on who have performed better than others during this period.

Last 6 games is current form........another shit stat......considering we are set up to defend (ie not leak goals)................we've leaked 16 (SIXTEEN) goals. You basically watch West Ham for the opposition to have the ball and still score shedloads......when we do decide to attack it's been quite entertaining......

"I couldn't give a fuck about the last 3 months, I'm not a Moyes fan either, I'm a West Ham fan. Which means I want us to qualify for Europe again. Most on here want us to fail, so Moyes goes and they can all stroke their fragile egos and say ""I was right"" The point was the poster stated on ""current form"" we won't make Europe, we've 7 from 9. So that's bollocks."

"It's worth remembering that we have already gone out of two cups in recent times very lamely, if we go out of another cup to a side we should be beating that would surely be unacceptable."

Scum Im not sure what your point is are you saying current form is only based on the last 3 games? So when we hadn't won one in ten or whatever it was.. why wasn't he sacked... oh and you cant just say 7 points out of 9 therefore everything is great we drew with the bottom team who were 2 nil up... we beat Everton but the eperformance was rank and which we shouldve lost how we won that no one knows.. the only good performance was Brentford.. so based on actual performances Moyes is still shit... you cant ignore it... this Frieberg games is a must win for us and Moyes if he doesnt he should walk...

"It's current form not the last 3 months form, we are 7th. Most of you lot won't be happy unless we are relegated so you can go ""told you he was shit"""

"They usually show current form as the last 6 games in which case it's 7 points from 18, which equates to just above the drop zone over a season, hardly going to get you a top six or seven spot"
