"Yep, club is full of spineless cowards, including a so called ''one of us'' all worried about losing their cushy little number, so on it goes. Ironically, the only people associated with the club who are kopping some stick is us the fans, let that sink in for a bit."

Re: Moyes Out
"Our former striker Carlton'not many brain cells' Cole is on TalkShit tonight and had the temerity to agree with a handful of Toon supporters who phoned in saying Eddie Howe's days are numbered following the defeat at Chelsea. One of his fellow pundits said West Ham were shit against Burnley to which the yellow bellied Cole said NOTHING,fearful of his present job coaching the kids at the Hammers if he said anything bad about that prick Moyes!"

Re: Moyes Out
I fully expect him to start the same side on Thursday as he did yesterday. Only with Fabianski. It's as bad as that.

Re: Moyes Out
It's fucking disgusting that the cretinous cunts running this club can't even sort the wheat from the chaff and make an easy decision. Fucking joke of a club.

Re: Moyes Out
"If Moyes stopped buggering about by smashing square pegs into round holes for a change we would actually fair a lot better in fluidity and as well as playing to players strengths. Something like this is what should be happening; Areola Coufal Zouma Aguerd Emerson Ward-Prowse Alvarez Bowen Paqueta Kudus ..............Ings What we often see instead though is Bowen crammed up front shit with his back to goal, Paqueta out wide struggling to stay in games long enough to have an effect, Ward-Prowse tucked in behind Bowen in no-man's land and Kudus although decent on the right is probably just as equally good on the left where crossing is more natural to him as Ings goal proved. Then all that is compounded further when he likes to cram in THREE CUNTING DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS! And against the likes of the mighty Bournemouth and Burnley of all Teams at Home! I reckon as a nipper he was a right fucking nightmare for his Mum whenever they visited the Doctors. Outside the waiting room he could be heard smashing all the wrong shapes into every wrong orifice going and his poor Mum apologising to all the other sick patients forced to endure the unpleasant display just as we all now have to suffer it too. Trouble is just like way back when, he's totally oblivious to the torture he puts everyone through with it and actually thinks it looks and sounds wonderful. What's that old Eric n Ernie idiotic Conductor sketch, ""I'm playing all the right notes, just not necessarily all in the right order sunshine!"". Yeah, that's him, that is. The pig headed arrogant wanker."
Re: Moyes Out
"A lot of people talk about how good it would be to have old fashioned wingers who play on their natural foot and stay wide and put crosses in, but if you think about it, playing that way with one up front just means that the lone striker is more isolated than ever. Even worse if you don't have a natural target man playing there. Kudus in particular I don't think is much good out on the left, although seeing as he's never played there before he could get better at it I suppose. He won't score goals though, which is really missing out on one of his best features. When he wants to cut inside he can't shoot or pass forward with his right foot so he ends up moving sideways or passing backwards. It's a waste, just as much as having Paqueta out there is. My preference with our current squad would be for us to play 2 up front running the channels (Antonio & Bowen), with Kudus in behind as the no 10 and Paqueta, Alvarez and JWP as the midfield 3. Or, if Moyes insists on playing with wingers so they can come back and defend then have Antonio at LW, Bowen at RW, and Kudus as a false 9, like he played for Ajax last year."

Re: Moyes Out
"Nagel yup I remember that! It's like we stumbled upon the best attacking setup in the league and then just chucked it away! I think we were top 4/5 at xmas that year. The main reason is obviously that Caroll's agent was allardyces agent or something. I remember the reason why Morrison ended up leaving and he said its because Sam kept pushing him to change agents to his one. At saddens me, but football is business to them but not to the fans. To fans its real, its life, but to most people in the game, they dont really care that much. And thats why when Moyes starts giving it ""why aint you grateful"" etc. you know he isn't one of us. No one who is one of us would have that perspective. To him, he has had many jobs, many clubs he has had allegiance to. And this is just another club. For us, we will never change clubs. We see the same Caroll bullshit going on with Moyes (Soucek constantly played), or when players do well (Ings, Cornet at Sheffield UTD) they are dropped. It's so bloody obvious that so many things at the club have nothing to do with footballing reasons. Just weird relationship bs and contract crap. I hate it."

Re: Moyes Out
"I think one of the most frustrating things for me is - a lot of people are saying we don't have a left forward - yet we have Kudus - a left footed forward. How refreshing it was yesterday in the second half to see a left footed player, playing left wing, being able to beat his man and cross it without having to check back inside. Bowens best position is clearly right forward - He does not possess the presence to play down the middle where you invariably have to feed off our god awful service. If you played Kudus left, Bowen right and Paqueta at 10 - Then you actually could start Ings as the centre forward if Antonio is struggling - or at least alternate the two. If you have Kudus/Paq/Bowen -- they will actually create enough to warrant having Ings on the pitch. Everyone in the ground can see it - Other than the kunt pulling the strings. Infuriating isnt the word"
Re: Moyes Out
"I agree with most of that 360, but do you remember in Allardyce's last season, when Carroll had a long term injury early on, he switched to a diamond 442 with Valencia and Sakho running the channels and Stewart Downing in the hole (as Nolan was also injured). Completely different to anything he'd done before, and somehow had us playing really well and in 4th place at Xmas. Then Carroll and Nolan were both fit again and it was back to the same old shit. Been hoping this season for Moyes to at least try something different like that, what with having no decent LW or CF available, but no, he keeps on doing it the same old way."

Re: Moyes Out
"the issue with Moyes at the moment is down to what your expectation are nowadays. Some of us are still living in the PTSD of fighting relegation every other day. And for them, the league position is all that matters. I think thats Sullivan as well tbh. Then there are those of us who are living in the now and are asking can this guy take us further rather than can he keep us just above mid table every year? And can it do it without boring us to death or frustrating the shit out of everyone. I'm in the second camp. I feel like why should we be in ptsd land when other clubs like Brighton, Villa, Newcastle etc are all moving on with their lives and their expectations? What is it about us that cant move forward mentally? If we cant then we will always be with Moyes or an Allardyce character, someone who is risk averse and expects you to be grateful. In fact, I've never heard another manager say those sort of things to the fans of other clubs. It's so disrespectful really. The fans turn up every week, and pay stupid money and we are meant to be grateful? wtf? The other interesting thing about Allardyce and Moyes is that when they lose their talisman players they drop like a stone (Caroll's injury almost relegated us, no wins without Paq all year etc). Why can't these people adapt? They always talk about how pragmatic they are with their approach. But when you look at it, they are very basic coaches that rely on magical players rather than any specific coaching tactics."
Re: Moyes Out
"Steady 2:20 Mon Mar 11 Bang on Steady Moyes only recruits slow players and even if we try to play a fast pressong game, we wo t be good at it against the fast teams who will easily break our press as efen Burnley did at times when we had to take the tame to them. Need a coach with a modern approach sing the ball, possession and speed with fast, crisp passing. Will take 200 million worth of new players and bringing one or two of tge outstanding u21s into the squad next season. Soucek, Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, JWP, Phillips, Ings, Antonio, Johnson, Cornet,Cresswell. Many of them need to be replaced in the starting 11 or will need to be sold. Unfortunately Paqueta will need to be sold to get the 200 needed Massive rebuild and big spend which is the main reason Sullivan will keep Moyes if he can. Avoid a huge outlay after having spent a lot in several windows over the last few seasons and also we will likely be without Euro qualification and match / progression revenues from next season"
Re: Moyes Out
"If you've got a manager who gets his team playing great football, scoring goals and winning games, then you can understand if he wants to set his team up the same every game, regardless of the opposition. If you've got a manager who doesn't do any of that then you'd think they might want to change things depending on who they're playing. You know, apply some tactical thought to it. Not our Dave though apparently."

Re: Moyes Out
"That hopefully is another (of many) nails in his coffin that gets sealed at the end of this season. A fucking dreadful starting line up and tactics. But hardly surprising. It's a very real possibly our session effectively ends in the next couple of weeks and that's with possibly 8th getting into Europe this season, if you look at the fixtures coming up."
Re: Moyes Out
"if there was ever a opportunity for Moyes to take the handbrake off and not play 3 holding midfielders, it surely was a game at home against a team bottom of the league that have looked pretty poor on the road all season. Yet we start with a holding 3 as usual i hope the 2 points missed out on yesterday doesnt come to haunt us at the end of the season when the european spots are finalised!"
Re: Moyes Out
"It's getting a bit boring to be honest, it's so predictable yet massively frustrating. Imagine lining up against us. Absolutely no homework to be done and never any surprises on lineup or shape. If we go out Thur night and that is a real possibility and with nothing to play for going forwards, that will be the end of him, but also our season. What the board and club could suffer is as a result of lack of European qualification we not only have to replace our aging players, but also our best one's who could all get picked off by Champions League clubs. By the way, i'm expecting no surprises on Thur night, give or take maybe Antonio starting."

Re: Moyes Out
"Start a midfield of Paqueta, JWP, Soucek and Phillips for a home game against relegation-bound Burnley? End the first half 2 goals down? Refuse to play any youth at all? The extent of Moyes's cuntery is now assuming alarming proportions and will result in no European football next season whoever takes over smoking hulk he leaves in his wake."

Re: Moyes Out
"A midfield of Phillips, JWP and Soucek is so negative. Especially against Burnley. We only needed Alvarez as our DM and he was benched. Especially against Burnley. Paq played out of position again. Moyes is a spineless anti-football cսnt."
Re: Moyes Out
"""Moyes is the David Brent of football management"" Good observation there Sir Alf and another good set of posts Massive Attack. A question about Moyes. What possesses a manager of more than 1000 games, to think that his ideal midfield trio would be Philips, JWP, and Soucek at home to the worst team in the PL? I reckon complete idiocy yet just think we could have also had Maguire and McTominay to chose from too... .Interesting to see Fornals and Scamacca playing well after being judged failures by Moyes. Same as Vlassic, Kral, Downes, Benrahma, Kehrer and all the others wasted by moyes. Ings played as lone striker when we can all see he isn't suited. Same as Bowen is a bloody great RW but we are seeing Moyes belief that what worked for big fast wingers Arnautovic and Antonio will solve the problem of having 2 good RW'ers now we have Kudus too. Can you imaging the mental struggle Moyes will have now that he has to play Kudus on LW? Where can he slot Paqueta, JWP and keynote signing Philips? We can now see that we need a striker and Antonio is the only option and Ings looks like he is getting back to his best but how can he fit all these attacking players into the side for Thursday night's game?"

Re: Moyes Out
"I said on the match thread that Ings looked genuinely emotional in his post match interview, talking about people knowing it hasn't gone to plan for him here. I blame that entirely on Moyes - ENTIRELY. I think he's a really good striker, has excellent technique and brings others in to the game. Not Moyes though, oh no. Moyes plays him as a lone striker and then bombs him out when he discovers that he can't play that role. A destroyer of players. The list gets longer by the season."
