Almost made it 2 minutes before they split our defence open

meant to post this here:

The mancs are pretty shit this season. I really hope paqueta is on a short leash today. He was diabolical last week, and Summerville has a lot more pace. If Todibo is injured, why would he be on the bench. That is about the only acceptable reason to start mav mind.

Win this and we jump them in the table.

That'll be much better. Soler out of position as opposed to Paqueta. Super

He’s carrying a knock. Fair enough, no way he would have been not starting for anything other than an injury.

At risk of sounding like an old bastard, why the fuck do we have the music and pitchside interviews and ‘entertainment’ at a ridiculously loud volume. Do other clubs do this? Does my head (and ears) in.

Pretty pissed off that Paqueta has kept his place considering he’s been such a liability recently. And I’d be even more pissed off if I was Summerville.
Lopetegui needs to show us something decent today. Yet another home defeat and to an ordinary Man utd would be totally unacceptable.

Disappointed Summervilla isn't starting. Has looked very good, I think he has earnt a start. Still I'll be interested to see Sole from the start. Mavropanos isn't so bad, need to watch that we have the gap behind the defense covered, i.e. too slow to play a high line. Areola dropped was coming.

Probably the slowest, least mobile midfield in my 49 years of supporting the club. I’m expecting Neil Orr and Geoff Pike to get picked next week.

Defeat incoming.

Two of the least mobile midfields in the PL go head to head.

If we get outworked by Casimero, Bruno & Erikson we are in big trouble.

Not sure what to make of that, but think bringing back the Pole is the right call. I've completely given up on the Brazilian doing anything (positive) of note, but happy to be proved wrong. As usual, we look woefully short of any pace.

I would love us to win this and create a meltdown for those cunts.

Gank wrote: 27 Oct 2024, 12:52 Paqueta on the left, then? Perhaps if he can work well with Emerson like he used to do, but surely Summerville on the left wing - you know, an actual left winger - would have been the logical choice?

Think we look a bit better balanced, but surely a left winger with actual pace would have been better on the left wing.

I accept Areola is a bit out of form, I’m not sure replacing him with a nearly 40 year old is sensible though. Not when that nearly 40 year old was declining when he was last our number one and starting to make mistakes on the regular.

Areola’s distribution might be poor, but he also makes reaction saves that not many in the league can make. Fabianski, though a great keeper for us, has equally poor distribution and slower reactions.

cսnt plays a right winger on the left, left winger on the bench
Right winger banned, cսnt plays an horrendously out of form midfielder on the left, left winger on the bench

Left winger and teenage right winger both on the bench. Thats £50m that was needed to strengthen the starting 11 totally spunked

Summerville receiving the same new signing treatment Moyes used to dish out. Has looked reasonably exciting when he has had chances, seemed logical to play him with Kudus out.

Not sure what Summerville has to do to get a game.

fuck knows.
