Ian McKellen appearing as a dancer for Scissor Sisters was a great moment.

This is one festival that does need “ cleansing “, why are musicians such utter wankers.
Spoilt brats who happily bite the hand that feeds them

I'm here now waiting for 'my' band to finish up at the Park Stage.
Had a wander around and the sheer size of the place is pretty impressive. Watched Bob Vylan but that was if out of the 200 odd bands playing today. Wanted to watch Numan but was asleep when he was onstage.
Did make me do a wry smile when they are supporting refugees from a place that has a wall to keep people out and supporting a movement than bombed a music festival.

Fair play to you Joe son...working amongst that filth and keeping your cool.

Charlie xcx or whatever her name is , on now clearly miming and shaking her bum at the camera the suffragettes would be so proud !
I thought she was some sort of hype dancer warming up the crowd for the main act. Took me a couple of songs to realise this is it. Certainly pushes the definition of live music.

I turn the sound down when they start talking shit. Its annoying but theres no need to recycle it all again on this thread which i hoped would be about the music.
Unfortunately political agendas have crept into all aspects of the arts, entertainment, sport. Someone is throwing their money about. The likes of gary numan doesnt have any influence over the young, or needs the money so just he just gets to do his music.

Gary Newman did a storming set and unlike 99% of artists there stays right out of politics. AOI thinks he's a "spaz" though, the miserable old fucker. Can't please some people.

Is there any chance we can keep this thread to the actual music being played and stop the political whining?
It's hard to just keep it to music when they're (the oddball eavis's) wheeling out the communist corbyn to lecture people at a supposed music festival, maybe cut that shit out and people would enjoy it more?

Avon and Somerset Police just announced they're investigating him to see if a hate crime occurred.
Lucy Connolly got 31 months for tweet that she deleted. Let's see what he gets for inciting a crowd to chant "Death to the IDF".

Wouldn't it be great to watch a music festival and for there to be no politics. Just music.

Amyl Sniffers, or whatever they're called were good. No doubt Kneecap will be heavily edited on the BBC iplayer later. Seen social media footage of the crowd chanting "fuck Keir Starmer" and "you're just a shit Jeremy Corbyn." Beeb fucked up and showed some guy live getting the crowd to chant "fuck the IDF" instead.

Old Cockers still got it. Pulps definitely 1 act I'd want to see if I went this year.

Was never a fan of them, although didn't really dislike them.
But...has there ever been a more underwhelming 'surprise' act than Pulp at Glastonbury?
Looks like 20% of the crowd remember them in their pomp, whilst the other 80% really don't have a clue who they are.
Shame really.

Biffy ‘fucking’ Clyro were…ok. More so if they’d not done the ‘God Only Knows’ cover.
