Re: Glastonbury 2025
This thread sums up modern day WHO , loads of angry men moaning pretty much the same they have done for 25 years on here , but no one now can be bothered to say anything else as the lunatics have clearly taken over the asylum . Loads of Angry Franks , if that Bob Vylan came round here messing up my sandpit and upsetting Noel Gallagher of Oasis , I'd say Nooooooooooooo!

a quick Google search would suggest a record shop is your best bet.
What would be the purpose though, of purchasing vinyl or CDs of either of them, and then throwing it in the bin?
They wouldn't know but would be a few quid richer?

Sorry but I wasn't the one who said the people at Glastonbury were losers. Look at footage of those at the LS watching Maiden...lol

I think I'll stop reading the papers, books, watching the news etc. and formulate my opinions from reading tweets. I'll just look up what punk rappers and what the likes of Gary Lineker think.

Some unbelievable dance tunes in the 90's but the slow cross over to Gung/Punk/Guitar heavy music killed. Loved Keith Flint, but he was fucking awful singing live.
Go back to "Everybody in the place" and 2 dancers.
Keef was a showman extraordinaire...like Bowie and Mercury were before him imo.

Lee Trundle" wrote: ↑01 Jul 2025, 16:27 The more I bother to think about it, the more it's obvious what a giant cock up the BBC made.
They surely would have had discussions about what would happen if one of the many LOOK AT ME bands did something to gain attention to themselves by doing something like this.
Then they surely would have had discissions about how the BBC would react when they did.
I'd be suggesting someone should be fired if I bothered to pay for the licence.
All the top table (BBC) were in attendance.
Nandy spouts the national institution (BBC) just like her predecessors did.
Theyre not anymore (BBC)and haven't been for two decades .
Only today no news on their website (BBC )about the start of the trial for the two peaceful brothers in Liverpool who played up in an AIRPORT .
Im watching ...I suggest you do too

It sells out long before anyone knows who is playing. I am reliably informed that the vast majority of punters go there now purely because they like the event. Many will choose a handful of acts to see out of the hundreds and hundreds there but some hardly see any. A few of the people my son was there with saw Biffy and that was it!
Seems to me that the music is really secondary to the event itself. It's a bit of an outlier in this respect.Possibly the stupidest thing ever written. This is like saying you can't criticise West ham because we sell out. It must mean we're fucking brilliant then. I didn't realise it worked like that. Things you fuckin learn on here.

In all seriousness and jokes aside, it's fucking impressive Rick Allen was able to work out a way to adapt and carry on.
And fair play to the rest of the band for supporting him in a situation that must have seemed untenable at the time.
If the accident had happened even 10 years earlier then I doubt the technology would have existed that enabled him to carry on.
