Doesn't work, does it?
Completely ruined my Tesco finest Cumberlands.
Had to give them to the dog.
Given me the right fucking hump, that has.

I cooked my Tesco Finest sausages in my old Actifry which has a paddle inside and they come out perfect. 2 minutes preheat and then in they go for 10-15 minutes and they come out banging.
without the paddle I have done fish fillets, meatballs and even chilli with the paddle. Will try beef rendang soon.

Sausages = lips, gums and arseholes. However I miss agood UK/Irish sausage. The ones in FRA/BEL are bloody horrible. At least Paris has some M&S shops.Â

Those pasty sausages like Richmonds are mechanical recovered meat. They blast the carcass with high pressure water hoses to remove small bits of meat and then sweep that up off the floor to use for the sausages. They do the same thing with some brands of chicken nuggets.
People go on about German sausages but I've always preferred a good Cumberland or Lincolnshire. Always a risk as even good butchers take the piss with what they put in them.

I’m often in Ireland, and I don’t think I’ve seen Richmonds sausages there for sale.
Which is just as well, because as he’s been said, they’re revolting. The texture of a saveloy with the taste of spam.

Best basic sausage in my opinion are Heck. 97% pork...minimal fillers. None of the others come close to that.
Have Aldi's top end ones gone down in last 3-4 years. When I was there I thought they were in the high 90% for meat content.

Any of you cosmopolitan gourmets tried kaszanka, the Polish black sausage?
It really is the balls.
I have. Standard fare at the deli/wholesaler I worked at during my undergrad. It's good, prefer a high-quality black pudding.

May get the missus to buy some of these, although ultimately it'll still be 97% eyelids and arseholes.
Used to be a decent Simply Sausages in Farringdon back in the day. Now they were decent bangers.

to be fair to Collyrob, when he said Irish sausages I doubt he meant Richmonds
I should hope not. I mean he's not Millwall, is he?

One of the few common grounds I have with collyrob.
I don't think I've ever purchased frozen sausages or even frozen fresh ones.
Not surprised as most homeless tramps like you don'tÂ
least your honestÂ
what a pointless reply

Over here you can only buy frozen if you want British style..

I figured you'd be stuck for getting fresh ones out there. One of the few things I miss about this place when I travel is a good fry up breakfast.
There are plenty of them avaialble over this way,
