How does everyone else feel about them?

On the subject of Palace fans, when I used to go over there in my teens. I notice that most of the fans were older, and had a bag with a flask and sandwiches. The also all seemed to be wearing bobble hats. The current mob are no better. They sing stupid songs that nobody else does non stop, that they all seem to know the words to. They must go to rehearsals somewhere. As for the Os last time I went there it was pissing down so heavily the game was abandoned. Only problem  was the tannoy wasn't working so everybody waited ages for the teams to emerge after half time and they didn't. As we were walking back to the car we heard a bloke saying "Well that's what I call a swizz," Funny what you remember.

Like Orient another local side (sort of) in Southend scaped into the last playoff place (7th) in the National League, playing Rochdale away tonight and pulled themselves back to 3-3, fair play to them, looked dead and buried earlier!

Got a mate who is a massive Southend fan so for him, hope they can get back into Div 2, big ask though, 6 teams on the play offs in that division, only 1 will go up, York city favourites, finished streets ahead of the other 5, Barnet got the only automatic promotion place so another London club back!

This is a good observation. I was thinking something similar last night watching the crowd shots of both Stockport and Leyton. Fandom at that level is a different beast. Something more akin to train spotting.

They’re very similar to Crystal Palace fans.

Last time I went to BR was for a pre-season friendly. '90's?
Can't remember the score, but DO remember a fair amount of 'boisteresness' (not too sure that's a word) and a WPC being pulled into the WH crowd. Emerged unharmed I hasten to add.
Good luck to them, although fear they'll be straight back down.

Strangely, when we played them in the FA cup the barriers on their terraces in the away end at least were painted claret and blue. I think West Ham must have donated the paint to them. Presumably to save them some money. It wasn't done just for that match.

Got a couple of mates with season tickets there and they're in a crowd of about 7, so spares come up from time to time and I'll go if we're away or playing on a Sunday/Monday. A few pints in the supporters club before and after followed by a visit to Yasar's in Blackhorse Road.  It's a better matchday experience than Stratford 

The mini Yids .   . Bizarrely anti west ham even though I've never met a west ham supporter who gives them a second thought .

As they are right on our doorstep always wondered why we didn’t get Laurie Cunningham from them & let him go to West Brom
Crazy that he ended up playing for Wimbledon & one of his 6 games was the FA Cup win

Didn't we get Tommy Taylor from them?

Used to be my 2nd team when l was at school,but once they jumped into bed with spurs over the stadium l detested them
Most of their very few fans are proper miserable bastards 

More associated with Tottenham who loan them players … & think Harry Kane sponsored their shirts recently 
Hopefully Charlton get through tonight & beat them

We tend not to loan them players as think it’s preferable for the boys to move away from home & grow up a bit

Spent many an evening in Yasar’s. Went to school with him. 

I’ve been over there a few times this season. Grew up in Walthamstow so they were local and they were my Grandad’s team, so was over there whenever we were away as a kid. I don’t think they are geared up for promotion infrastructure wise, whereas Charlton probably are, though the O’s have new owners with big plans, unlike our .

Know someone who used to run the players lounge there. He said the stock was very "Bohemian", by which he meant that the only drinks available were those obtained on a regular "Calais Run".
