Just read that Bronze played most of the tournament with a fractured tibia. That's the load bearing bone in the lower leg. Not sure how she managed but fair play to her. I remember Pulisic coming out of a group stage game in Qatar for the US due to a "bone contusion."

I think overall as a Nation we have improved in winning or going extremely close to doing so across most national formats which I'm very proud of seeing.

For years I used to moan about the need to get a centre of excellence back up and running during the 2000s in the Country that Lilleshall once provided us. A place where those that attended were educated with discipline as well as knowing exactly what was expected of them whilst singing from the same hymn sheet. It used to nurture future talents like Owen, Cole, Carrick, Lampard, Campbell, Defoe etc. 

Now that St. George's Park has been well established as the new hub of excellence the Nation is reaping the benefits again at all levels that now includes the women. That's not by luck but by design. It's great to see and long may that continue.

I'm not some raging hippy but why does it have to come down to money every time. The price of everything and the value of nothing. Let's concrete everything over and paint it all grey, everyone can work 60 hours a week until they're dead and we'll have nothing unless it pays for itself.

In the grand scheme of things women's football is costing less than fuck all, a lot of women participate and men & women enjoy watching it. Same as the arts, national trust etc or do we bin those unless they self fund.

Maybe if the blokes were paid the same amount as the women, they would end up playing for the shirt.

If you seriously want to build the women’s game then it will need to be propped up for a while by the men’s game. In the same way PL clubs invest in the community they should invest in the women’s game.

The women's game gets the same screen time on Skysport's news as the men's game. The women's international team is the best its ever been, yet viewing figures are down year on year, that suggests its the product.

Yes, the World Cup next year will attract the usual once every 2 years facepainted cunts with their foam fingers & Beckham shirts
But the men’s game plays in front of full premier league crowds & earns billions from Sky

The women’s game doesn’t wash its face & has to give away tickets for WSL games
Its grown immensely in the last few years but its fans need to make it financially viable & justify higher salaries
Surely a success like yesterday will attract separate sponsors of LADY PRODUCTS to boost the games income 
But these fans need to grow the revenue 
Playing in Premier league stadiums will help but not sure we will ever see fans travelling on a rainy night for a game in STOKE

The last penalty was decent the rest were 50/50 to go in as in the keeper would save if diving the right way.
