True. Expertise is sadly something of the past. Instead of a properly trained chef who understands cooking techniques and flavour combinations it’ll likely be some dolly bird who airfrys shit on TikTok. 

Grace Dent was going to replace Gregg Wallace so they need do a proper chef who has run a good restaurant to fill the John Torode role.

You’d hope so wouldn’t you. Grace Dent is good. Just need a decent chef alongside her.

Yeah, I think in future I'll wait for Richard Osman to advise me on how offended I should be by something (whilst continuing to overlook the fact that his TV programme is also made by Banijay). Slightly weird is an understatement. I've seen this reported too. If true I'd imagine he has a very strong legal case against the BBC.
