Gregg Wallace sacked

Millwall fan (he has a tattoo of the club crest on his chest) who can’t spell Greg
Over 50 more women came forward to complain about a man who liked to grope & take his trousers off in front of staff while not wearing pants
One woman who complained was told you are over 16 and have hardly been Jimmy Savilled
Same old bbc story. Don’t rein in the ‘talent’ while they are successful

In the 90s a mate of mine was told by his mate (a copper) that he had been called to the Blue Peter studios to an violent incident involving a naked Caron Keating (not the time he arrived) a cameraman and some white powder and a her boyfriend walking in. Don't shoot me I'm just the messenger.

How it does put the "Blue"' into Peter .

It's an open secret that it's called 'Bongs of Praise' behind the scenes.

Take it from me, the tv and film industry is rife with cokeheads.  If we shut down every show where the staff were on the sniff we'd have fuck all to watch.

It's a fair point but other than the contestants, would anybody else know or care?
True. Expertise is sadly something of the past. Instead of a properly trained chef who understands cooking techniques and flavour combinations it’ll likely be some dolly bird who airfrys shit on TikTok.
Grace Dent was going to replace Gregg Wallace so they need do a proper chef who has run a good restaurant to fill the John Torode role.
You’d hope so wouldn’t you. Grace Dent is good. Just need a decent chef alongside her.

Ha! Well it's possible but it's got to be a food critic or a chef/cook really doesn't it. Winkleman is ubiquitous but she's got absolutely zero credibility in judging food.

Surely Winkleman will be in there? Her presence as a presenter seems to be compulsory these days...

That came from the BBC website.

Banijay apparently wanted to keep him until the BBC waded in.

Yeah, I think in future I'll wait for Richard Osman to advise me on how offended I should be by something (whilst continuing to overlook the fact that his TV programme is also made by Banijay). He seems very comfortable with the fact that his podcast is made by the faultless Lineker's company. Hope that doesnt come back to bite him

Torode in that case sings along to music allowed to be played in a public place … and 7 years later gets the sack
Taking your life in your hands going to a Kanye West show obviously!
Slightly weird is an understatement. I've seen this reported too. If true I'd imagine he has a very strong legal case against the BBC.
