That's fair enough. But nobody is not blaming the Tories and nobody expects Labour to sort it within a year. But one thing I didn't expect under Labour is legal and illegal immigration to increase, which it has. So as you rightly say, have they done enough? No. Clearly not. And that's the problem.

And the question is why? And I will tell you why, because it is a party that is now so Woke, Starmer is scared to tackle immigration properly through fear of upsetting all the Woke MP's in Labour and all the Woke supporters they have. And then to come out with this Digital ID bollocks when boat after boat is still landing day after day. It's ludicrous.

And as I said, Starmer signed his own death warrant with this.... He was already the most unpopular PM in history and now he has cemented that. Under Labour Reform are making the biggest strides in their history. And Labour and Starmer can bleat about people voting for Reform being racist, but that won't wash anymore. Your missing the point. This isn't tacking the issue of illegal immigration and illegal workers. It just slaps further controls on legal people. Labour should do their fucking job and stop mass legal and illegal immigration like they promised they would. This is simply a veiled form of control. The question is simple: If a Passport, Visa, NI Number, Driving Licence, Birth Certificate.... whatever it may be, are ignored by illegals and they still come in and work - Why would a digital ID work?  

It wouldn't. And any Labour twat that has been asked the same question recently has simply failed to come up with an answer. Watching Starmer and other cronies squirm when asked this over the weekend was painful. Charlie Staight almost made Lisa Nandy cry yesterday when he just never let her off the hook and kept asking "Why will this work when all the other ID's don't". People want illegal immigration stopped and legal immigration controlled - Yet Labour's answer is to slap ANOTHER form if ID on legal people. That anyone with a braincell knows won't make a difference.

So. ALL that information already out there and available to the government and the best they can do is come up with an app/card that makes that data easier (for them (and criminals)) to access and use as the may see fit?

Stop beating about the bush, for fuck's sake. The only (ONLY) way to stop the illegals is to stop making this country such an attractive proposition for them, both collectively and individually.

If it's still not clear enough for you, I mean benefits - ALL benefits. And if the government really wants to stop illegal people working here, the only sure-fire, 100% guaranteed way to do so is get them out of the country as soon as they arrive.

I’ve signed the petition and I remember signing something similar some twenty years ago, I think, when the likes of David Davies was very much against it.

To the gullible the introduction of the compulsory ID verification facility would see the gradual and eventually complete elimination of people working illegally in the UK.

There are already Laws here though sufficient to prevent illegal working with the onus being on the employer to check whether or not an employee is sound. A thorough check of Nail bars, kitchens of, mostly, ethnic restaurants and such as the host of food delivery motorcyclists buzzing our streets would reveal a myriad of illegal workers. 

To me this ID system represents and infringement of my personal liberty, my right to go about my day to day life unhindered whilst pursuing activities deemed not illegal. The storing of all this data safely too is another one of my concerns. Also it is concerning that when these IDs are faked, and they will be, the hapless employer will no doubt be brought to boot for not checking thoroughly enough.
