"Russ of the BML 11:48 Wed May 8 Moyes has previously pinpointed Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig as exciting, sustainable templates to follow regarding football structure and development. I would really love for someone to ask Moyes why he's now so against all that."

None of that comes as a surprise but actually worse than I imagined... three players lined up and all vetoed by Moyes. Good riddance!

Oh also he said that Moyes has caused friction and unnecessary bad feeling by refusing to collaborate properly with Tim Steidten. The club wanted to move forward with the Coach and Tech Director model for a while but Moyes was rooted in his style of overall management.

"Kaveh summed it up well yesterday on SSN when asked why West Ham are moving on from Moyes. His first response was one word. Results. He went on to say how bad our 2024 has been (3 wins in 25 games). How if the league table was based on 2024 we would be 4th from bottom. How this season we have conceded 70 goals (4 plus in 7 matches) and this is all running parallel to not actually playing attractive and entertaining football. So he said the club are probably now asking themselves ,like the fans have all season, what is the pay off? Not winning games, getting routed, watching negative football. There's no positive. He said the fans could forgive a more pragmatic style when results were coming. But now they aren't. He said many supporters and now the club believe this season the results, playing style and quality of squad has regressed. He also said recruitment has been a mess and mentioned the two Jan windows prior to Europa League knock outs where we bought nobody. He also said that he knows for a fact that in this Jan window the club had three deals lined up and ready to go with players agreeing terms - But Moyes vetoed the moves and demanded Phillips only. It was actually quite damning."

"Stolen of YouTube Why did West Ham decide to move on from David Moyes? | Kaveh Solhekol explains 29K views ¬∑ 15 hours ago#SkySportsNews #SkySports #PremierLeague ...more Sky Sports News 1.18M Add a comment""¶ @RobCriddle 15 hours ago If we hadn't been made loads of promises about going to the next level to move grounds our expectations wouldn't be so high. 62,000 people don't go to watch the opposition play football and us sit in a low block. @dreamvillasmarbella 14 hours ago (edited) For a manager who boasts about his defensive teams, then to have conceded 70 goals this season with our goal keeper having at least 10 MOTM performances and still have Man City to play. He sold Fornals, Benrhama & Thilo in Jan and didn-t replace them, three players that were vital in Europe for us and are much better players than we have on the bench now!! We were nearly relegated last season with Rice. Yes the Conference league whilst brilliant to win, we played one good team in that whole campaign and that was in the final, where they were far better than us, we did a smash & grab job on that night for sure!!.... We are also 17th in the form table since January, which would find most managers out of a job!!.... @cappa351 12 hours ago Moyes was offered a contract and the contract probably said going forward you must do the following: ‚óèUse youth players ‚óèuse the whole squad. At least 17 of them ‚óèno more than 5 defenders on the pitch EVER ‚óèbuy a striker this time that actually suits the way you play ‚óè stop letting players you dont like rot on the bench and losing value ‚óèstop sitting back and defending against 95% of teams ‚óè stop playing defenders up front to save the game ‚óèstop giving the opposition so much respect ‚óè and if you cant do any of these points at least use youth players He read this contract and said il be. Damned if im doing that. Tim said ok. And showed him the door The end."

"Lee Trundle 8:38 Tue May 7 Re: Moyes Out ( Released ) The ones I've discussed this with aren't that baffled, especially after the weekends game. I wouldn't even say it was a particularly bad performance from us compared to how we've played the rest of the season. I wonder what happened to that contract he was meant to be offered in December? I bet he's kicking himself now as it's cost him millions. --- If Moyes signed in December, he stays for the duration of his contract. No way would Sullivan be getting rid of him if he had to pay him off."

"I think the media loved Moyes because he was guaranteed to keep West Ham ""in their place"". That place, in the media's eyes, was just outside the ""Big 6"". with an occasional (failed) pop at a national cup or other ""insignificant"" trophy. Newcastle would have gotten the same treatment over the last 2 years except for the fact that the media are very aware of the regard their owners have for those in the media crossing them. This had nothing to do with clubs' fortunes ebbing and flowing and all to do with preventing the change in the layout of the premier league, who's sponsors pay their wages (The companies employing them were simply handling the cash transactions, taking a commission for doing so). The sponsors wanted no change because that gave them a solid historical base on which to hang their products across the globe; if you're unsure about that, just look at the media minutes/column inches about Man United's possible failure to collect their entitled spot in a European competition this year"

"By your own words, you walk your dog during matches. No wonder you aren't fed up with the dross served up by Moyes. Also, what planet do you really live on? You have continually abused me for having different opinions about this cսnt, and then ask me and others to come over to say hello? If I came over, it would be to smack your gib you imbecile twat. As for Moyes, I will certainly applaud on his way out for good knowing I will never ever se him again in the dugout. Good riddance to both of you"

Up there with the man who won us two FA Cups back in the days when it was coveted almost as much as the Div 1 title? Took the great Liverpool side to a replay in the League Cup final after being cheated by the OFFSIDE Sammy Lee And made a European final when you had to beat a team containing Arie Haan & Rob Rensenbrink to lift the cup.

"I'm looking forward to giving him the ovation he deserves on Saturday, might even tear up a little. He has been our best manager since Lyall, up there with him in my opinion, and I will be sad to see him go but it is time. I'm hoping that Daveyg, keepdreaming and some of the other knicker wetters come and say hello to me in person but let's be honest none of them actually attend matches."

"Mashed The last two league campaigns have certainly been failures in my opinion. He turned us into a good side the first two seasons, then spent the next two being terrible. Winning in Prague bought him way too much time and leeway, he should have gone before the World Cup in 2022, that's how long we've had to endure the same old dire shit for."
