The're main strength is their pace when they are attacking,they look so dangerous when they are coming at you. Hopefully, we can somehow compete in midfield where they are also very strong but it's going to take a he'll of an EFFORT to get anything at all from this.

We will never contain them. I'd play Summerville, Kudos and Bowen up top, drop Füllcrock.  I'd play Vlad at right back and Wan Bissaka on the wing in front of him.  Alvarez and Soucek midfield.  Kilman, if fit with Todibo alongside and Emerson at left back.  Mav if Kilman is injured.  Fab/Areola.

I tell you who I'd love to see play tonight, Lewis Orford. The boys got it, it's just a matter of time and with so many central midfielders out and if Irving isn't fancied, maybe he could be asked to play. I don't think he'd let us down either.

Let’s keep it compact, two banks of five and get them on the breakaway.
They still seem to find a way however, so you can’t see anything but them winning, but by how many?
Hoping to be proved  very wrong of course!

Duke, Im of the same mind. They play at such a high tempo and so physically strong / athletic with the players they have.  Cannot see our midfield being able to deal with it even if they were all fit and our back line will be vulnerable to those little chipped balls over the top which has happened a few times already this season. Then there’s Salah and Diaz down the flanks.

To compete imo requires Paqueta deeper and to have a game like he did against Newcastle away, Alvarez to  “stay in control” avoid an early card and be positionally disciplined, Kudus to wake up and be back to his previous levels but in a central or free role, Bowen to be on fire and Sommerville to be physically strong as he needs to play too imo.

We need Stavros not to give away a pen or handball or rickett and Todibo to be good in the air. Above all else we have to be ruthless and clinical in transition because we wont have a lot of the ball and cannot beat their pressing.

Just too many things have to be right and thats without mentioning the need for an even handed ref which Taylor isn’t and VAR going our way.  Of course we’d take a “shithousery” win with Liverpool defy the laws of physics by missing 99% of their chances and us taking most of maybe 2 or 3 clear chances we get.

Nah a comfortable, cruise control victory for the bin dippers confirmed early on as they race into a 2 goal lead in under 20 mins

This could be embarrassing. Let’s hope they’ve been working on passing to our own players! If we give the ball away like we’ve been doing all season L’pool will slaughter us. They may well slaughter us anyway. I’m hoping for a 100% performance, which may see us keep the score down!
