Hit the woodwork twice. Non existant foul given agaist Kudus when he was through on goal. Paqueta slipped when presented with a sitter. A clear penalty aginst Somerville not given. Our best player crocked by a tackle which went uncarded. Their fourth goal was ars'ole lucky with a deflection. They also had Anthony Taylor as ref, who fucked us over in the Arsenal game too. Not saying we deserved anything from the game, just some context.
Fucking hell!
We hit the wood work 3 times. Fucks me off seem that said in the press as well. Kudus twice, Brazil kid once. This horrible massive defeat is being hugely exaggerated by many including the press, especially the Guardian which usually gives a good balanced account. CUNTS
Happy New Year

Was definitely no hiding place for any of them, Lopetegui being the worst of the lot with what he served up. After that display, if he wants the sack he's going the right way about it.
Think the game can summed up when we had a promising break on and Paqueta somehow managed to clip the ball straight into Allison's arms.
I've run out of patience for Lop. Whilst sympathetic to the trying circumstances he's been working under, he's had enough time to make his mark and everyone is as baffled now at what he's trying to do as they were half a year ago. At both ends of the pitch.
Whilst I don't expect much, if anything at all, from games against the Sky 6, it would be nice if we at least had something to look forward to today. I guess Kudus provided that for a bit even if only to put himself in the shop window, and it's always nice to stoke the Andy Irving banter fire. But Christ, my poor OAP dad forking hundreds for his season ticket to go watch that abjectly dismal dross in a soulless bowl.

The conundrum Loppy or the new manager has will be who to play on the right, clearly both Bowen and Kudus are better out there so who do you pick? Bowen is NOT a centre forward and Kudus isn’t a left winger.
We are blessed with 2 fantastic right sided players but 2 into 1 doesn’t go.
I really don't know why he doesn't give Kudus a run up front. When you think about it he is the closest thing we have to a younger Antonio. Clearly has pace, strength and can run with the ball and whislt possibly not a consistent finisher neither was Antonio. He would certainly be a stronger option than Bowen and then releases Bowen on the right and Summerville on the left although Jimmy needs to get stronger for the PL. I'd also stick Todibo in central midfield if he isn't going to play him at centre back.
One great question, and a simple answer: because he is a clown, not a manager

He should play Kudus through the middle, and get Paqueta out of the team. He was an absolute disgrace last night. No commitment, multiple wayward passes and that stupid fake injury move he does in every game.
Kudus with 2 of Soler/Soucek/Alvarez behind him is obvious (at least in my non manager football brain). We could then have players in front of him in their actual positions - Bowen, Fullkrug, Summerville.
It’s a bit revolutionary but I think there is some merit in playing players in their favoured positions. Kudus has done the attacking centre mid role before too.
It ain’t hard to see we have no midfield, no protection for the defence, no striker and individuals making mistakes. Bye the way shouldn’t have Trent’s goal been given as an own goal?
Watched Forest before our game. Gibbs White isxa big part of their success. Energy, pace and skill. But alleged lesser players like Yates, Anderson non stop running, winning every 2nd ball, so strong physically getting the ball and protecting it. Constantly getting the ball into Wood and getting wide at pace.
good coaching playing to their strengths and all plauers believing in the system. Whoever manages us needs to fix the midfield. Paqueta, Rodruiguez and maybe others are not suited to the Premiership. We need 3 different central midfield options and a system / tactics that expolit our strengths in transition. Sullivan will fvck it up though. He always does

Are you seriously defending players not making an effort? It doesnt matter who the manager is, you play for the badge or you can fuck off and many of these I wont be unhappy to see the back of.
Yes that's right.
I'm defending the players. And I'd like a manager that does the same because, in case you haven't realised, its the players out there who are supposed to deliver the thing we're longing for, which is a performance. Get behind them - slagging them right now is just too easy.
This must be a comedy post. Very funny. Pamper the poor players who cant be bothered to fucking run, tackle or pass to someone in the same shirt. Do you work in an HR department? Manager is at fault for picking them, in my view that is him repeatedly showing them support but they arent paying it back.
Not a comedy post at all though I’m sure Sullivan would react to it exactly the same. Wake up - we’re all professionals now - this isn’t gentlemen picking the grateful boys to play anymore.
I think that with Steidten, it was like a dog having two masters - he flips between the orders of each.
Moyes' immediate priority was strengthening his current squad, and so money should (only) be spent there, Sullivan (and this is assigning him a lot of credit) is/was looking to the future, and those types of players was HIS brief to Steidten.
As such, he's achieved neither hence we are where we are; fallen between two stools. Two different roles needing two different approaches and probably 2 different people.
Noble to seek out players for the current squad and Steidten to sniff out prospects for the future would be my preference, given that Sullivan's paying them both, anyway.
The problem is the players we signed since Steidtens been here aren’t good enough Mavro Alvarez Rodriguez Tobido Summerville Fullkrug and Soler. Lopitegui and Steidten should both be sacked.
It seems that, for many players, like our glorious leader, just playing in the Premier League each week is the absolute height of their ambitions; if their current team gets relegated, they'll just move on.

And the crowd was shit. We should be trying to lift the team, especially at the beginning. There was nothing there. Even the Liverpool fans were shit, only making a bit of noise when they scored.
Football has become so unenjoyable. And too expensive.
We had loads of tourist fans sat near us today, and a few Liverpool fans that got kicked out - was also a fight just to the left of us (Bobby Moore upper).
Tourist fans are a big part of the problem imo - no affinity with the team, spend a lot of time filming stuff and taking selfies and then not getting involved in any singing, chanting etc. Also had a few people ask where their seat numbers were. Fucking learn to read you tourist cunts.
Only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt over that gaff
when it happens we'll cop the blame ...as usual.
It's on the incompetent wankers running the club ...but they'll shift the blame onto the remaining die hards ...
Bans incoming for some bods for AFC I believe?...
What absolute cսnt cowards our club are run by
The team are bereft of confidence as they haven't got a clue as to what they should be doing, hence the mistakes being made, so I can't blame them. It's all on Lop IMO.
I don’t agree. With another manager, the starting line-up reflects a totally different approach. We have the players to make a game of a match like this; what we got here was a capitulation by a crap manager and all the players knew it.
What’s the point of making an effort if you have been set up so bad it’s going to go to waste?

Yet another humiliation at home. Funny thing is at 1-0 down Kudos goes through and beats the keeper with a long one that hits to post then shortly after Liverpool go 2-0 up.
Sliding doors moment but even if his shot had gone in and evened up the score we would still have lost. Half the season gone and I doubt we will get another 23 points from the next nineteen games, just enough though to stay clear of the relegation fight.
