The point is, you criticise them, for things which are untrue, which makes you look the right knob, you are.

"so do you support the Board?"
Not all of them. But when they have done the odd thing for the benefit of the club, I'll point it out. Like the £30 million rights issue and Kretinsky's £125 million he pumped in. And although they were well rewarded with interest payments, the loans they provided to the club, on relegation, back in the day, meant we didn't go into administration. And the owners (not Brady) have never drawn dividends or salaries.
For the money we pay Brady, I refuse to believe we coudn't get a more adept, brighter, sharper CEO (or what ever her job title is).
Fuck me, are you Jack Sullivan?

"Apart from the initial buy the board haven’t put any money in to the club apart from when it’s earning them 6%, it’s the clubs money."
And the £30 million they put in, via a share rights issue during Covid.
Yes, we do owe a fortune to other clubs for transfers. Standard practice. What would you prefer, that, or paying all the money due on a transfer up front? Which in itseslf, would incur more borrowing costs.
Plenty to criticise the board for, without getting things wrong.

so do you support the Board? or would you rather have some other owners with a vested interest in the club who have a plan for the future?
in truth, I'd rather have the Cearns at least we had entertaining footie and the occasional Cup-run when we actually won something of note (I don't include the recent tin-pot cup win).

Unfortunately by the time a lot of our fans wake up to the fact that Sullivan doesn’t give a fuck for the club or its supporters, he only sees it as a money maker. Everyone is making the assumption that the club will survive no matter what, they see that the worst that could happen is relegation. Him, Brady and Gold (when he was here) have fleeced and lied to the support for as long as they have been here, systematically selling off, re mortgaging, over inflating the costs of players who have been bought through preferred agents. Apart from the initial buy the board haven’t put any money in to the club apart from when it’s earning them 6%, it’s the clubs money, Kretinsky bought in and his money was used but all GSB seemed to have done is run the club on borrowing. Fuck me are we really any better off than when they rocked up?
The cheapest stadium, stewarding and policing costs in probably all the divisions, training facilities that are totally eclipsed by clubs with a third of the gates we get and still we have no money even though we’re being overseen by a self proclaimed business genius. She’s a genius at making Sullivan money, They’re asset stripping the club, and if you looked through anything different than your claret and blue spectacles more would see it.
We apparently owe other clubs we’ve bought players from a fortune because of the way we structure payments, everything is mortgaged even the shitty training ground, we own fuck all and will always own fuck all while these are bleeding out the club. I don’t think the fanbase will realise until Sullivan says one day “fuck you all, I’ve had enough and made enough, there’s fuck all left”.

I’ve a feeling this will be his last season involved (fingers crossed). Nothing more than a hunch really, but I have said before, the apathy is slowly turning back to anger, and we could see another ‘Burnley’ or something even more embarrassing for Sullivan.
Yep I feel the same, if it goes bad on the pitch I hope it goes worse in the stands enough is enough.

I've got the same sense as well. I said on the transfer thread that the Kudus sale might a prelude for a pretty shitty season.
At least it's not likely to be a boring season with all the toxicity around the place, even if we are shit.
You haven't any sense whatsoever and how you going to feel if we do OK this season?
I'm going to cheer the team on rather than creating toxicity around the place
Sullivan ain't going anywhere unfortunately

So why isn't a protest being organized for the 1st home game and then every game there after?
Enough is enough.
Agree, I'm baffled over the inactive fanbase. Everyone is upset, but not enough apparently.
fans have been bored shitless since the Ruskie-Midget & co. took over, there was a spark of anger a few years ago with the promise of a protest march (whuisa) but, rumor has it that the march was called off because of a brown envelope... is it no surprise that no-one can be arsed to organise a protest?
perhaps someone could survey the new supporters that frequent the Hotpoint... they ripped the soul from the club when we left The Boleyn, it ain't coming back whilst this mob are in charge..

Think the most incredible thing for me is that Sullivan and the late David Gold are/were West Ham fans and yet I haven't seen them do much to prove that. Sullivan especially does the opposite to what the fans want!

Yeah, Sir Trev would have been fantastic as Director of Football. Don't know if it was ever on the cards though. He retired from the FA when he was 65 and probably didn't want another job. He also said about choosing not to manage the club full time that his wife didn't want him to risk undoing all he achieved as a player. Maybe he would have thought the same about being Director of Football.

One thing that gets me is it is not just the financial issues where this board have fucked us over. When GSB took over they had the personnel to achieve the World Class Team with a World Class Infrastructure but totally ignored it.
Trevor Brooking has been in or around the club most of the time that GSB have been involved. Sir Trevor did a root and branch review at the FA. In his time the infrastructure, from grass roots to the England Senior Team was overhauled from an old boys network to a professional, objective driven organisation. The England Team are far more consistently competitive now than before and the set up at every level, with pathways to progress, transparent and effective.
OK, the old boys network remains and, where they can, they still behave like twats. So Sir Trevor returned to his first love, West Ham.
So, when the cunts were selling the dream of World Class Team, etc. They could have utilised Sir Trevor in a director of football role and set us up for success for years to come. World Class set up attracting World Class talent with a world class academy to match.
The bloke had the track record to prove it. The money, within that environment, exponentially increases. Instead, the board have lackadaisically rode along with the general growth around TV, merchandise and ticket sales.
The talent was in the building, West Ham through and through, with the passion, football and the business knowledge to take us to that next level. That plus 60k fans gave a high probability of building and sustaining a next level club. The board chose to avoid that opportunity, focussing on short term, unimaginative financial gain. The promises were vacuous and the opportunity to deliver on those promises shunned.
I have no idea where the money has gone other than that it has not been invested wisely, simply spent in an archaic, organisational framework, but I do know that the lack of ambition on the board is ruining the club I love.

Yes, you know this that whatever state the club finances are in, Sullivan won’t be a single penny out of pocket and will have probably profited from it. If not now then certainly when he sells up- and greatly so, unless he does manage to drag us down to the championship.
Problem with selling up is no serious buyer will give him want he wants for the club as he doesn't own the ground and no guarantee that a new owner can come in and either continue paying the lease whilst a new football stadium is built or can negotiate buying the hotpoint and turning it in to a proper football ground.
Given the state of the nation's finances, getting the cost of the deal for the stadium off the books probably pops up every week in "discussions", but civil servant egos still rule the roost and nothing will/can happen until everyone involved from the government side has moved on.
That being said though, it's highly likely that anyone taking the stadium/ground on will be able to do so free from any of the existing covenants (like preserving the "Olympic legacy" - as an aside how many people do you know (of) who have seen the London Stadium and decided..."Hmmm, Olympics. Big part of my future, that, I'll give it a go?).
This may be exactly why Sullivan is clinging on and not really bothered too much about what happens on the pitch; as prime leaseholder he may well have first dibs at buying the freehold.
