I hope Paqueta scores and has some kind of ‘fuck the FA’  message under his top.

would be nice to get a result and build some confidence going into the season.

Any streams?
Official site says this "NBC Sports, the Premier League’s US broadcast partner, is the Premier League Summer Series' host broadcaster across NBCUniversal’s networks and Peacock, while fans in the UK will be able to watch the Manchester United game live on Sky Sports."
I guess I'll see what I can get on kodi.

Bloody predictive text 🤭. “Spreadsheet” = Prem Lge although in Potter’s world perhaps spreadsheet is appropriate ? 😉

Yep hard to disagree with the assessment that our central midfield is by far our weakest link.

I also agree that Potts, from games I’ve seen him in at Pompey, is not at the level to make a case for making in the very fast, intense spreadsheet. He works hard, is a team player and passes the ball well. He like our existing options lacks the pace, physicality, athleticism currently.

It's only four responses but for the first time ever, I've wholeheartedly agreed with every single post on a thread.

You can see the weaknesses of the squad sticking out like a sore thumb there. It's that midfield trio. Urgently needs some fresh blood. Two probably need replacing and the third may be gone or banned!
CB feels slightly dodgy but it's better than it was last season assuming Aguerd stays, and we REALLY need another decent striker. But it's that central midfield looking pretty much like a hole.
Absolutely, and it's not really made much better with the addition of Alvarez, Potts or Irving....Paqueta for me is wrth keeping if circumstances allow as he's the most talented, physical enough, and offers vision the other don't (plus he's a very good penalty taker).

I suspect we'll see JWP stay.  Talk is Potter likes all the players at his disposal currently.  With our current set of players, and Potter's style, think I'd favour JWP at 6 (more for calmness on the ball and distribution) withPaqueta once side, Alvarez the other, and Soucek on the bench to relive Fullkrug as the target man or the guy that comes on to 'affect' the game.

I struggle to see that Potts breaks past Soucek, Alvarez etc. Given his age, and these are well established current internationals, suspect he'd have shown more by now if he was to.  Incredibly hard for kids to break into the modern Premier League teams these days.  Let's hope on this one I'm wrong.
