Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"The point I was making was Steidten will never be fully allowed to do what he does best with Sullivan meddling or undermining by taking advice from the likes of Salthouse. In Steidten I trust, as for Sullivan I wouldn’t trust him as long as he’s got a hole in his arse."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Steidten out !!!! One good window in all the time he’s been here and worst still he don’t see eye to eye with he great Moyesiah when it comes to identifying players to bring in. He’ll never get a better job than he’s got so Sully will have Steidten begging for his expert help with recruitment soon enough? I mean who’s gonna want a DOF like Tim Steidten. Its not like Liverpool are currently looking and identified him as a prime candidate or anything. And besides, all this data analytics and structured recruitment processes is all o er rated. Brighton just got very lucky many times. Lets get back to the golden gut of David Sullivan and his favourite agents flicking thru some rolodex of Silkman, Salthouse and Mackay. Guaranteed value for money and great resale value assured."

"Ron 11.37 Other clubs seem to manage it ok, I thought we were done with shit like this, shows our system of recruiting is a fucking joke and our planning for said recruitment is beyond amateur."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
I'm intrigued. How do you fortunately get 3 points clear in 6th place with a game in hand over half way through the season?
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Ron Greensward 11:37 Tue Jan 30 No I'm not having it. We've had thirty fucking days to find out which players are available and if its going to be possible to sign them. You explore tricky op ions at the beginning of the window so you don't fuck yourself in the arse when they do t come off. We have a prime opportunity to try to capitalise on our fortunate league position and yet again we've bloody fucked it up. How did we get to the fucking 30th before realising that fucking tax is payable in the UK? How have we been speaking to the wrong fucking agent for two weeks for this Osman cսnt? We're in panic buy or getting our pants pulled down territory now because these fucking idiots dont know what they're fucking doing.

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Well time is really up isn't if we have no targets who are in progress we've left it too late as usual.... in fact apart from improving our dmf trio we are worse off if Benny or Pablo or both are offski....

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Vexed you think in a world where 2+2=4. However in the transfer world 2 doesn’t even make 2. There are so many variables the club understand and then variables insert themselves at any time. It is no longer club A agrees a transfer fee with club B and then agree terms with the a player. Agents can insert themselves at any stage and then it becomes doing a jigsaw puzzle where the picture and pieces change all the time. It is VERY difficult
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
I wonder what dogshit panic buy we'll end up with as we've fucked this window up again? I thought Jota was it but it appears we're not even organised enough to sign a bloke that isn't even attached to a fucking club at the moment.
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Seen a story that Liverpool want to nab Steidten? Sully wont be happy that the German got a lot of credit for summer business. He’s doing his David Brent dance equivalent in response to Tim from the Swindon branch at the Office party ;-). The Dwarf will show us a he is still “master of the deal” when Wilson and some other ageing, past it, but once good players are gifted to Moyes tomorrow ;-)"

"looks like the poisonous dwarf cսnt has had enough of a professional doing the recruitment, so has reassembled the dream team of silkman, salthouse, etc. he can't stand not having his grubby little hands on the process, millions down the drain on this leeds cսnt and derailing any progressive signing that may benefit us in the long term"
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Its looking that way Hopper. Not sure any of us were convinced he could handle the rigors of the Premiership but a lian may have been useful but the whole deal sounds complicated due to financials / tax. As mentioned earlier, most likely outcome is that we won’t be bringing anyone else in. We would need and be able to overpay to get another loan or permanent player in this Jan window which is even more challenging than ever. As we are insisting we have to sell to buy we can only assume we aint flush in terms of cash and besides need to free up squad places. Oh well, lets hope Paqueta out of position , for an extended period, does not suffer from the same demise as Fornals and Benrahma"
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Jesus wept indeed. You do realise that the left winger Richarlison has been played at centre forward and the centre forward Werner has been played on the left wing since the latter arrived, don't you? I'm done now, you win. Postecoglu, the one manager in England who knows him, does rate Jota for the Premier League he just decided not to show any interest"
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Jesus wept. You do realise that Werner is a CF who can also play LW, don't you? And that Jota isn't? It's not difficult to work out why they needed a player like him more than a winger."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Ron Eff 7:58 Tue Jan 30 Yes, and given they signed Werner in January that proves 2 things: 1. In spite of their glut, there was space in the squad, and 2. They think Werner is better than Jota"

"This Jota thing has gotta be a joke right? He's plied his trade in those mighty leagues of SCOTLAND and SAUDI ARABIA. Unproven and a pathetic, waste of space signing."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"TeamTalk West Ham secure winger’s verbal agreement from super-agent as talks progress over exciting 18 month paid loan deal Super-agent informs West Ham about Jota deal The Hammers dropped out of the race for Ibrahim Osman after having a £19m bid rejected by Nordsjaelland and put their full attention on Jota, getting his verbal agreement and the conditions of a deal from super-agent Jorge Mendes. They have now moved into trying to complete a deal within the next 48 hours and talks are positive between parties. Al-Ittihad want a large loan fee and that is the main point of negotiations. There are also some sources stating an option to buy will also be included. Al-Ittihad signed Jota from Celtic in a deal worth £26 million, which broke the record for a sale in Scotland, but it has not been a happy move for the talented wide man. He will be hoping that this move comes off and sees him show his ability and potential."

"Nagel 6:40 Tue Jan 30 Oh, for fuck's sake... of the 4 left wingers... one is superb, one isn't one but can play there, one is injured and one is on his way out, but yeah, you're right, there's no way they'd be interested in another one even if the manager knew he was the bollocks. I give up"
