The Official Cowdenbeath 2024-25 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League

Post cup of tea »

Yes, it is the thread you have all been waiting for. The mighty COO go once again in 2024/2025 and I am going to stick my neck out and say that the COO will walk the league this season and win it by a record margin with a record points haul.

After some consolidation in recent seasons the whispers coming out from the staff, players, manager, executives and fans is one of absolute confidence which is refreshing to see and hear.

Nothing will stop us this season, and I don’t even want to hear about the scum from Kelty Hearts, they mean NOTHING to us.

MON THE COO’

"If we could get 8 of us to chip in £25 we could get a player sponsorship. If not, maybe we could do one or two £50 ones. We could guess how many goals the Coo will score in the league next season. Winner gets the shirt/signed picture."

"Was only joking about the WHO fund Mex, but LETS DO THIS. If Len will match the 25, we’ll have 3 goalkeeper gloves. I don’t think there’ll be a chance of getting anything written on the actual shirts, but it will get a mention in the official matchday programme, THE BLUE BRAZIL. You can’t even put a price on that."

"If it gets westhamonline.co.uk on a Coo shirt I'm in for the laugh. I'll match your 25 WHU. A bit of fun and support for grassroot football, I like it. However, I don't think WHO fund should be paying and I will still be supporting Tranent!"

"Len, I am definitely 100% in. Fuck the Euros and let’s get back to the nitty gritty. Unfortunately I’m not in the same pay bracket of people like Swiss or Come on your Irons, but will happily bung 25 quid into the goalkeeper glove thing. IF SOMEBODY ELSE WILL MATCH IT. plus I will bug them to make sure the donation appears in a copy of the Blue Brazil. We can’t say fairer than that. MON THE COO"

"Nice one Cup of Tea. I will be supporting Tranent this season. The mighty Lowland League Cup holders. My cousin's boy plays for them. I have to point out that it will be Tranent that walk the league, but the Coos can perhaps be an impressive 2nd. A word of advice, if you put your prediction as a post it will be long forgotten and buried by the end of the season. Second sentence at the top of the thread is asking for the guillotine to fall on that neck..."
