"If he stays after tonight's (yet another) hopeless performance, then this really will be a death by a thousand cuts. Put the sad case out of his and our misery and let any of the existing Staff take over till we find a suitable replacement. If we don't, he'll just be treated like the annoying old bloke down the pub that everyone tries to avoid stinking the place out."

"Sullivan is looking to give the bloke a new contract. That has apparently been put 'on hold' amid this string of poor results. I'm just incredulous that they are even thinking about a new contract let alone allowing the current one to expire. I'd rather lose every game until they act. Aside Burnley I'm struggling to see where points come from in the next 6 or so games. Most everyone's time is up at some point in football management, and that point for Moyes has to be now, Shirley."

"Lowlife - wow. Its like Moyes interview bingo. Belittle West Ham by stating how he saved us from being relegation certainties (bollocks). Tick. Mention prior, now completely irrelevant results. Many of which were complete blags. Tick. The players did a great job. Tick. Just missing the European Cup for a full house. Absolute prick."

"ludo21 9:29 Sat Feb 17 Agree and put Hertinga in charge till seasons end Because unlike say Villa where Emery turned them around with a couple of new players, we need 4 or 5 top quality ones. And better squad back up. But they have to be quality on the ball and have pace and strength. Steidten will need to get 3 or 4 that the new manager wants. Sadly i think it wll take selling Paqueta because Sullivan unlikely to shell out a 100 million and probably more. Starts with getting Moyes out though. The danger is Moyes gets a win in the next 3 or 4 games. Sullivan is desperately looking to retain him i reckon but now backed into a corner Sullivan is mid 70s. Let Steidten take care of everythjng in the name of god !!"

If we leave Moyes in place until the end of the season then there will be next to no chance of keeping Paqueta or Kudus (not that there is much anyway). No new signings will come in until Sullivan has waisted 6 weeks on appointing a new manager and the whole thing will be a shit show. Either get a new manager in now or at least make it clear that a manager has been identified and will be coming in on 1st June.

"The dinosaur cսnt deserves to be sacked for his post match comments, particularly the last paragraph. ""I thought the players responded incredibly well, they showed character, a lot of courage at different times of the game. It was a tight Premier League game. We played well going through the thirds and it was in the final third where we struggled and made poor decisions in poor opportunities to score goals. The players did a great job."" ""We had to change things up to get through January but the last three games have been disappointed that we've not scored more goals"" ""I'm really disappointed that we didn't win today and I'm really disappointed with a couple of results. But you mustn't forget the good results, you mustn't forget the wins even this season. We're sitting in a strong position, last season we were sitting near the bottom. It was only three years ago that we were Nottingham Forest and fighting relegation. We've moved on a long way from there."""

He won't get sacked. Were not getting relegated so the contract will be allowed to run down. It's Fat Sam's last season all over again.

"We are basically a relegation fodder team. Moyes got extremely lucky fluking wins in the first half of the season. The wins against Chelsea, Tottenham, Burnley and Arsenal were all daylight robbery. We were in a massively false position and now we are being found out. We are very lucky not to be in a relegation scrap as we are no better than Burnley, Luton, Forest etc."

"""Someone said Sullivan has given Moyes 4 more games"" WHY FFS? It wont change much if anything even if we win one or two of the next 3. The relationship between Moyes and the players is fundamentally Broken, everyone is pissed off to the eyeballs with this. Despite some good players, the football is horrendous. He's shaping a squad that will take a new manager another small fortune to revamp into something resembling a competitive footballing outfit. Sooner or later he'll take us down, he almost did it last season. We cant take the risk!"

There's still enough games for a new manager to save the season and push for a European spot and have a go in the Europa. If Moyes stays we will finish bottom half and will be out of the Europa next round whoever we draw!

saw a few Moyes out posters in the away end (watching TV coverage). That needs to become more clear and vocal at the next Home game.

Someone said Sullivan has given Moyes 4 more games Forest lost Brentford Everton Burnley H We will most likely lose them all and beat Burnley so Moyes will carry on to end of season. Can't see us going further in Europe unless we get a kind draw.

He has to go.. He has lost the plot and the fans and the dressing room. Most of us saw this coming and he will not and can not turn this around. He must go and the fans must make the board see that we are fucking pissed off with this cսnt.

"We have a really, really golden opportunity to get someone in NOW at no Risk to our PL status and who can work with the players, target transfers alongside Steidten, and go into next season on the front foot and looking forward. I'm concerned that waiting until June will be an absolute shit show of a summer window with a new manager no appointed until August and a poor start to next season as well. I suspect that's what will happen tho looking at how we are run in general. Why Wait - there is no upside to keeping Moyes employed, None."
