David Moyes
Re: David Moyes
We wanted Moyes gone because the football was unwatchable at times. Life under Moyes was a bit of an enigma; It was ok when it worked and we managed to defend well and hit teams on the break, and we did have some cracking wins, but overall it was not entertaining stuff, and when it went wrong it went very wrong. How many demoralising 5-0 drubbings? On paper a successful period, in practice extreme hot and cold stuff on the pitch and some pretty poor recruitment too.
In any case our general malaise as a club is always going to be less about the manager and more about Sullivan.

Re: David Moyes
As I was saying to some goading mates earlier, I'd actually rather have the blinking wonder Lopetegui back, than entertain a 3rd Moyes spell.

Honestly that's not entertaining in any way and I wouldnt pay my money to watch it. 30 percent possesion and 3 shots on goal today. When they start losing games playing this way which they will then the fans will also turn.
He wasnt sacked l, he wasnt renewed, he left. He won a trophy and had some great times but wasnt the future. I cant for the life of me understand how people were happy to watch that every week.
This is it though. For now just like is when Moyes joined us, they won’t mind. They just want points by any means and some goals. Once they are out of desperation mode, then the depression sinks in. He will keep them up comfortably but it won’t be pretty. However if their board actually backs him properly and don’t interfere in transfers, he will put together a better functioning team there than here.

Re: David Moyes
What the N17 bellend fails to understand is like with us, Moyes has a great honeymoon but once that wears off he reverts to low block, boredom which sent me and many others into to a state of catatonia.
Good luck Everton, you'll need it.

So true. If you feed the trolls they keep coming back. It’s exactly the reaction they are looking for and people keep falling for it time and again.

Re: David Moyes
Moyes was always going to do a better job away from Sullivan’s machinations, roadblocks and duplicitous ways. Guarantee even with their financial ways it’s not going to stop him bringing in a player or two who makes a difference with a board fully committed to supporting him rather than playing fantasy football or doing what’s best for them and their mates.

I’m so glad I can’t read this post, I imagine it’s just inane drivel.
Thank god for the foe option.
