Re: Moyes Out
It way worse than what Allardyce gave us. And he's managed to do after spending half a billion pounds on the squad.

Re: Moyes Out
"Worse football than anything Allardyce served up. A few on here backing this charlatan should hang their heads in shame, especially you, Sold0. Disgraceful that this is what West Ham have become, the shittest footballing team in the country."
Re: Moyes Out
"You can only think that Moyes isnt being renewed if our transfer window is an indication. A 6 month loan who will leave. Hardly getting in players the manager wants. So much now dependent on Steidten and where his head is? Couldnt blame him if he jumps ship after less than a year in the job? He would have been super impressed by the efficiency of our administration processes last night. Thankfully it was not for a last minute inbound player. We have to hope Sullivan has told Steidten to wait until Moyes contract ends? Then he can get full control on the recruitment because Moyes is still getting his way on some players and Sullivan is perhaps avoiding that confrontation and unrest with just a few monthe to go? Of course hes arguably foregoing this season but hoping Moyes somehow guides us into tye Conference again? Hopefully Steidten has a replacement lined up? All the above is desperate hope on my part. I am expecting a 10th place finish and no european football next year and is that pessimistic or just realistic. We always lose at Old Trafford and the likes of United, Newcastle, Villa and even Chelsea I expect to have better 2nd half seasons. Us? We aint won a game in 2024. Decorations slowly coming down etc. All hopes this season rest on no more injuries, Paqueta and Moyes having an epiphany and dropping Soucek and playing players in their correct position. Likelihood of that happening is very low imo. Midtable mediocrity beckons"
Re: Moyes Out
We were joking on the way up to the game last night that Moyes would put Soucek CF so he could get Philips in the side. Then he played Soucek as number 10 and JWP left wing. Not only did he do that but he did it for 80 minutes despite the fact that we were playing some of the worse football i have ever seen live. Moyes can fuck off.
Re: Moyes Out
The Soucek situation is beyond comprehension. Last night our slowest (ever) midfielder was leading the press from the front for a lot of the time. I feel sorry for Tommy - Moyes keeps asking him to do things he patently can't do. Phillips great asset is his long range diagonal passing - we have bowen and kudus up top yet i didn't see that once - it's like Moyes is convinced he has another midfield blocker to cover our hobbling/mistake prone defence so let's just sit in and hope. If Soucek still plays when Paqueta is fit i give up
Re: Moyes Out
"I can't stand him but he has been done up this window I think. Sullivan has obviously decided relegation isn't happening so no need to spend , but the manager should have the bottle to call him out on it. He won't cos he is gutless, don't forget this is a man who came back even after Sullivan fucked him over first time. Only saving hope I have is that Sullivan has decided not to spend cos he isn't giving him a new contract."

Re: Moyes Out
Think he set a new record for square pegs in round holes last night. Noone looked comfortable and played as though they'd met in the tunnel at 7.25pm Surely NOONE thinks Moyes should be getting a new contract?
Re: Moyes Out
"Last night absolutely shocking performance driven from Moyes deciding to play 4 defensive fucking midfielders including the useless cսnt Soucek and JWP wide left How JWP and Soucek played 90 is utterly staggering Ings played well last week in the 10, sticks him up front where he has been dogshit all season we can't keep hold of the ball for more than 3 passes, can't play through midfield at all Last 10-15 mins our only two decent players in Kudus and Bowen are fucked so we're holding on for a point against fucking Bournemouth He doesn't make subs or react to the other teams subs which change the game Puts square pegs in round holes rather than giving the kids a chance He is fucking hopeless, get him out of the club asap"

"Yet another awful fucking performance from the dinosaur""¶ Win, Lose or Draw, who the fuck wants to watch this utter dross week in week out.. New Contract.. Fucking hope not."
Re: Moyes Out
"So Xavi is leaving Barca at the end of the season as well. So that's him and Klopp going plus the inevitable casualties for underperforming clubs (expect to see at least Chelsea, Newcastle and Man Utd all changing managers in the summer if not before). There's going to be a big manager merry go round among the top end clubs, which could have a knock on effect for us in terms of possible replacements for Moyes."

Re: Moyes Out
"I tend to think of Moyes as being in a similar mould to Lyall, and his career with us has had parallels. The main difference is that Lyall worked for owners who were hands off and happy to be anonymous. I'm split about him. I like him as a person, but I do get sick of the mediocrity we sometimes endure. Overall I think I'm in. I don't know who would replace him and improve us, though I enjoyed the Bilic era and would have him back."
Re: Moyes Out
"6th place, a European Cup and 3 seasons of being in Europe. QUOTE: that will do me after watching them for 55 years. Some wont be happy here till they get that joke of a manager from Spurs in -his team were great last night! Moyes -best manger since Lyall winners of CUPS! and nights to remember on your death bed ."

Re: Moyes Out
"The football Moyes plays is awful but we shouldn't be using it as an argument to get Moyes out. It only gives the know nothing smug commentators the chance to say 6th place, a European Cup and 3 seasons of being in Europe. Be careful what you wish for""¶ There are plenty of real reasons for wanting the dinosaur out. Like - playing Soucek and Ings in spite of dreadful performances and stats; ignoring players he signs like Vlassic, Downes, Cornet and our most promising youth until they threaten to leave; dreadful and predictable substitutions; lack of any coaching aimed at keeping hold of the ball; lack of set piece plays; dithering over decisions and wasting at least ¬£200m of talent by being unable to fit them into his tactics instead of adopting tactics to suit the squad."

"Brighton have been absolutely decimated by injuries this season, apart from the last couple of weeks we've been practically injury free all season. I'm not a huge fan of sideways passing football, but I'd choose it every day of the week over the fucking dirge we serve up."

Re: Moyes Out
"how brighton have started playing is a reaction to clubs like us who are entirely willing to basically sabotage a game of football in the hope of getting a result. they were playing the same style but with far more risk earlier in the season, but results have turned so they are now being conservative to a fault. their game vs. us was the perfect encapsulation of two teams who did everything they could to nullify the other's strengths (which is our game plan every week). they took a six sided dice and removed everything above a 4 and below a 3. we didn't roll any dice at all."
