Question in my tiny bonce is what was his motivation? Dont know the size of the bets but it would have to be a lot for him to be betting via family or friend to be worth it based in what he earns? If its to help mates or family out why would he risk it? He doesnt strike me as completely dense but trying to help out a bunch of people on his home island where its obvious to detect is definitely a stupid thing to do.
