Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Joyo you are the perfect example of what I'm talking about, you're that dim that you cannot understand that it's okay to praise and critique a manager. Pointing out that losing 20 league games isn't good enough isn't negative. Criticism for shipping 5 goals (twice) isn't negative. It's what people with more than a few brain cells are able to do."

"It's strange how coy he is about things, really takes it to the extreme, Ally McCoist, who he had been giggling with, just innocently asked him what does he do with the players over Christmas, and Moyes said I'm not telling ya, he made a little joke out of it but the point still stood. Weird."

"swindon hammer 10:49 Sat Dec 23 ''Despite want many might hope or think, I doubt there has been any conversation at board level about sacking Moyes or having any dialogue with Steidten about seeking out new managers for next season'' Nope, I think you are way out there. A manager coming towards the end of his contract in a few months, add into the mix they will be fully aware that a lot of the fan base don't like him, and no discussions have taken place about a potential new manager? Of course they have, and that would be perfectly normal and correct."

Re: Moyes Out
"We did look good against Wolves for some decent periods of the game and the goals were crackers. I think the terrible Fulham result forced his hand a little bit We needed to bounce back for Wolves and then we had Liverpool and the Christmas games coming up. We should have been better at Liverpool than we were. All the players put in were experienced pros, not novices. Pretty much all have been starters in the near past. He's not contrite now but why would he be? He could have done a better PR job, but if he believed he changed the side with the right priorities before the Liverpool game why would those priories change after?"

Re: Moyes Out
Capitol. . I think Harry lost as many as he won and had a minus goal difference after 7 years! Sometimes I wonder how he stayed for so long considering taking over from club legend Billy Bonds in such circumstances and after some of the batterings we got but I suspect it was his humour and his attacking intent that kept him onside with the fans. I suspect Join Lyall would have been out of the door after a few years max these days. I'll be honest Moyes confuses the hell out of me. At times he speaks well in interviews and gets some good results but at other times he seems to blame anyone but himself and just makes bad tactical decisions and plays pretty negative football. Under his tenure there have been some great times but the football has been dire more often than not. If he could actually manage to get the team winning by playing on the front don't in certain games I'm sure most of us would put up with playing his low block preference in games that warrant it. We aren't stupid we know you can't attack everyone and get a result. It's just his arrogance at times along with his stubbornness sticking with certain players that gets people's backs up.

Re: Moyes Out
Pellegrini had more 4 points when he was sacked than than Moyes had last season at the same point.
Re: Moyes Out
"Though I understand the sentiment, and agree to some extent of the 'Moyes Out' stance, being 6th in the league at Xmas is something I've experienced perhaps 5 or 6 times in 54 years of supporting the club, so I also understand the 'Moyes In' brigade. What I don't understand is everyone calling each other cunts if they're not of the same opinion. I'm as delighted with today's result as i was appalled with the team selection and the result against Pool. I've also seen much worse football played by us than we are serving up this season. The Iain Dowie and Chapman years spring to mind. If I were the board I'd certainly be considering getting another manager in, but the Pellegrini experiment would worry me. We were all excited when he was appointed but look what happened there. For me, there's only one man I'd be confident with. Thomas Tuchel."
Re: Moyes Out
"Capitol. I for one will be Moyes out for many reasons. Great we won but for 70 mins we were dreadful. Man U were the better team and all we could do was stop them from scoring. I'm grateful that we had Paqueta who could muster 2 great passes and we netted two goals. What many can't stand with Moyes is that his rants against the fans and media will happen again in a couple of weeks. We'll get beaten by 5 goals again soon when the players are knackered because he won't rotate properly or use any of the best youth team in the country..He slams the players quality who played in midweek and then puts them all back on the bench again. He's not planning for when Kudus is away in a shape or form and it will only take an injury or suspension to Bowen or Paqueta and we'll be down to one class player. We'll probably see the youngsters thrown in with the likes of Ogbonna,Cresswell,Benrhama and Ings where they'll get splattered.God help them. Not even playing one of them now is and will have consequences for the rest of this season and next. It's just farcical ."
Re: Moyes Out
You don't half post some nonsense. Financially the club are in better shape than ever. Paqueta Bowen Kudus All 3 would go for much more than we paid. Do you actually read back any of the rubbish you type before posting?

Re: Moyes Out
I don't think it's much of a challenge to work out that the Board well aware they are not going to get their money's worth out of recent signings with Moyes around in the office. Or do you think they really just see this as some kind of mass-media entertainment franchise?

"Despite want many might hope or think, I doubt there has been any conversation at board level about sacking Moyes or having any dialogue with Steidten about seeking out new managers for next season. In reality the board are probably just waiting to see how the second half of the season goes before making any decision and Steidten is probably focusing more on identifying transfers for January & next summer."

"Steady The way Steidten is going about things indicates Moyes is not in the picture for manager from next season, wouldn't you agree?"

Re: Moyes Out
"Maybe four decades plus of supporting West Ham and Al that goes with it I'm reluctant to write off a manager who can win for a handful of beans in the hope that winning football and entertainment grow from them. Has any manager ever offered us entertainment and results for more than a season? I suppose I'm more optimistic that a few more Steitden-driven purchases can slowly increase the standard of football played than I am of starting again with a completely unknown quantity, given how that has gone for us in the past. I suppose the sides under Harry were the closest we have got. A lot of the others seemed to be one-season wonders."
